Looking to provide upper management with a number of endpoints off of several pbx's within our corp. Looking at the disp capacity listing it appears that Stations (Includes BRI stations) along with IP stations would give a complete picture. However want to confirm before I make the final jump...
Thanks to everyone that has provided feedback:
We are using 4621sw IP phones with the built in headset port on the phone. The same phone/headset combo is used throughout the building in other departments without issue.
After further investigation we found that the affected phones were...
Nothing to adjust. the 4621sw has a built in headset jack. the headset is connected with an avaya HIC disconnect cord. Only adjustments available are for the Automatic Gain Control and we already tried that.
Thanks for the input!

We had a new call center go live last week. All agents on 4621sw IP phones with plantronics supra binaural headsets.
Intermittently agents are getting client calls where the caller "sounds like they are underwater and/or digitized". As a test during several garbled calls the agent or...
Solution found. Thanks to Monty for putting me back onto the numbering plans. The problem was not with the public-unknown, but with the private-numbering. Once we added Ext Len 5 and Ext Code 58 (to cover the VDN routing to the vector that sent the calls to messaging), it worked.
Thanks...
All extension ranges are listed in the table. Do they need to be added to the specific SIP trunk for AAM as well? Making two entries for each extension range, one for the default trunk they come in on and one for the SIP trunks feeding AAM?

We recently moved from Audix to AAM. We have a couple of call vectors that use the 'messaging' step to put calls into specific voicemail boxes for specific clients. This worked without fail on the Audix. However when we made the changes to push those calls to AAM, the calls are not answered...
I have a remote location that I need to add IP conference phones into two offices. Both are using 4621sw IP phones and they do not have a spare jack. It is a STATE office that we provide phones to so their PC's are not on our network and are not using the pass-thru port on the 4621's
Isn't it...
I agree 100%, I have used audio groups with great success in the past. However it was decided that we would not use audio groups as it would be too difficult for the End-users to update their daily announcements. Now they have an assigned extension that they call into to make those changes...
We have several LSP's that all have unused VAL boards as all announcements reside on the main switch in NY. Is it possible to copy the appropriate announcements to the local LSP's VAL resource (using different assigned extension numbers) and then create a vector that will default to the local...
No error, it keeps trying to connect to the CLAN and then just times out and stops, returning to the base client. I am trying to find out if Windows firewall is blocking the connection.

I installed the newest patch that 4merAvaya provided the links to and yet still have the same problem. I am using the same superuser login/pw that I use for ASA, same port settings, etc.
Keep getting the same error posted in my original email.
I am loading up an FTP client to see if I can...
I have configured VAL manager, however every time I try to pull the VAL board info I get the following error in the log:
There was an error retrieving the VAL boards for RDC. 1 00000000 51c5 Object command word omitted; please press HELP
I see previous posts that say to upgrade VAL manager...
When I log into the System config via webserver I get three options:
Installation -
Two options here are:
Avaya installation Wizard - started this and from what I read it doesn't appear that this will list the various LAN/IP settings that I am looking for but will allow me to set them...
I have recently started with a new company and have been tasked to pull all of the existing configuration information out of the Voice Network and document it all (TFTP, Router, DNS, Option 176 setting, etc).
In the past I kept the Avaya IP worksheet when we had installs/upgrades. However the...
