i have put a 9 in the PRI prefix, but long distance doesnt work and the caller ID is 10 digits.

just had a question about voicemail and the calander schedule.
can you set up a schedule in VM pro to play holiday greetings on the day of the holiday without having to record or rerecord the main greeting? i guess what im trying to say is....can you set up the calander in VM...
in the 3.2.55 we had these extensions set up this way the same way.....no phone, but the user forwarded unconditionally without the light on the DSS on. i could understand if they were set to DND, but not forwarded? maybe that was a bug that was fixed from 3.2.55???? any suggestions would be...

just wondering what the most stable release software version is for the 412. we upgraded a system from a 403 3.2.55 to a 412 4.2.14 there are a lot of differences the newer version has. i know the jump from 3.2 to 4.2 would be different. they have a lot of virtual extensions that...

i can get the call listen feature to "monitor" calls if i tell the user he can monitor that group. is there a way i can monitor ANY phone without having to set up monitor groups? could i just simply set a button as ADVANCED-> CALL-> CALL LISTEN and then leave the action data blank...
im going to try and change the power supply. hopefully this will fix it.

i had the same problem with some 4620SWIP sets. the phone would not let me press the * button to reprogram the phone settings. i had to unplug the phone and keep pressing the * button from boot up. i was able to then set the phone up. i tried to do the "mute clear" and other commands, but...

we replaced both of the phones with new 4412. the phones seemed to work good for a couple of hours, then they called back saying it was doing it again.
im going to try and move the ports that are having trouble to unused ports to see if that works?

they are complaining that 2 out of the 35 phones are "fading" in and out or have low volume problems.

i looked at avaya's support page. the only thing i get is an option to download 3.0DT software. i have tried this, but the software is UK stuff???? it has funny shortcodes? it also puts the system as ALAW???
anyways, i will try the new 4.2 software to see if that works.

i have a small office unit that is new and has 2.0 software. if i was told right, i cant talk to the unit unless i have 2.1 MANAGER software?

the one that gets me is the voicemail button....should that beep twice when you press the button (which is the *17 shortcode)??

just upgraded and we still have the "beep" when we page and when we dial "speed dial" buttons.
i have voicemail buttons set up on all the 4424 phones. when you push the button, you hear 2 beeps????? so the upgrade did not help with this either.
