D, this was may initial try, we just can't get past the 2nd prompt for our userid and password. Again, we log into the main page fine using the default, when we click on admin applications, it prompts us again for the userid and password, but doesn't take the default. I'm telling you this thing...
We access the BCM main page using the default UserID and password, then click on Administrator Applications. When we do this, it prompts us for the UserID and password again. when we enter the default, it does not take it. no error message, just doesn't take it.
They are unable to interface with it to do so. I told the tech to try going in thru telset programming as he has been able to do prior to installing patches. He can not get in that way as well. It's giving him denied in admin.

Look into using the upgrade tool kit containing MICS-XC 4.1 upgrade software cartridge and MICS-XC 7.0 ugrade software cartridge. this is a two step process from MICS 1.1 to 7.0
you REALLY need to monitor the boot sequence thru hyperterminal to find out what is going on. i just timed my call pilot's entire boot sequence here in our lab, and it took close to 10 mins before it linked to the phone system and allowed access. are you giving it enough time to boot up? also...
good...reconnect your call pilot and make sure you get green lights on your ports and most importantly your link light.(LED BELOW 10/100). Again, without a link to the phone system, you can not network into the call pilot.
check the digital port on phone system.(take digital set, connect to vm port, verify ext port is working). If all is good there, check wiring to port on CP.
