    Got an email from our telco saying they received a 911 call from our PRI that IDd as xxx-2999, which is not in our DID ranges. The call was made from the attendant console. What happened, and how do I prevent it from happening again? Relevant(?) data below, let me know if you need anything...

    Here's how this is supposed to work: Someone calls 2121, rings 4 times, goes to 2600, rings 4 times, goes to 2200 which is voicemail. If I call 2600, it rings 4 times and goes to voicemail OK. If I call 2121, it rings 4 times, jumps to 2600 and then rings forever. What's wrong? DN 2600 TYPE...

    Guys, newbie here, I know just enough to be dangerous. Tell me why this doesn't work or suggest an alternative. We've had a power failure in our main building. Satellite buildings are still powered, PBX and servers are on a (diesel) generator. Folks who work in that building need their phones...

    Thanks guys! I found the documentation of the DID ranges. Yes, our site uses CLID tables. I learned how they work, and cleaned up a few extensions that were IDing incorrectly (ENTRY # was wrong). All is good.
