Possible to export a list of Remote Notification numbers?

We’re getting rid of our CS1000 and CallPilot (v4.04), and upgrading to a ShoreTel. Quite a few of our users have Remote Notification enabled in their CallPilot boxes to page them when they receive a voicemail. Is there a way to export this information for all users? If I search for all users...

CS1000 Backups -- Have I Covered All the Bases?

Here's how I'm backup up our three CS1000 PBXes: LD 43 EDD After the EDD internal backup routine runs (usually takes 2-3 minutes), then I put in a 64MB PCMCIA SSD into Slot A of the CS1000, and write the backups created by LD 43 to the PCMCIA: LD 143 UPGRADE From the menu, select 3. UTILITIES...

Where is the NAMD in this call route?

Or, is the caller ID name tag just getting lost somehow in this call path? Will the CS1000 show a name of XXXX if there isn't a caller ID tag?

Where is the NAMD in this call route?

I have a set for which every outside call that comes in shows a caller ID of XXXX, which must be coming from a set with CLS of NAMD somehow (going off http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1185743&page=924). However, I can't find where in this call route that would be happening. The phone...

What are the risks if the Admin2 password is compromised?

Thanks, all. Our Admin2 password, which was set by the vendor, was very insecure. However, they walked us through changing it (log in as Admin2, LD 17, CHG, PWD, enter through the prompts until the ACCOUNT_REQ, CHG at that prompt, the enter the username and then the password). All set now.

What are the risks if the Admin2 password is compromised?

I don't have a good understanding of the security structure for the CS1000. If the Admin2 password is compromised (for example, if it's easily guessable) what would the security risks be? Is Admin2 more privileged than Admin1?

    Blocking incoming international calls

One of our users is receiving what appear to fax calls or calls with fax-like tones from a number in Germany. We're located in Michigan. Is there a way to block incoming international calls to this user’s DID?

    Getting a new CS 1000 R6 - phone options?

Careful when ordering refurbed M3904s that you get them from a reputable vendor. We’ve been burned by refurbs that were DOA or had lines in the screen from random fly-by-night websites. You get what you pay for.

Teltronics NET-PATH console speed is sloooooow

Anybody have configuration information on how to do that?

Teltronics NET-PATH console speed is sloooooow

See, that's what I thought, and that's what I tried. The NET-PATH is port 1, I'm assuming (it's TTY 1 -- those correlate, right?) Here's the PRT of my TTY from LD 22: ADAN TTY 0 TTY_TYPE SDI CAB 00 CARD 00 PORT 0 DES SWITCHTERMINAL FLOW NO USER MTC SCH BUG TTYLOG...

Teltronics NET-PATH console speed is sloooooow

Vendor (a big telco) recently upgraded our old dial-in modems to newer Teltronics NET-PATH modems. Great for us because now we can telnet to them over IP instead of dialing. We have three different CS1000s. On the first one they did, the telnet interface is pretty fast -- seems to run at about...

Calls that are transferred don't reach voicemail

Yep, voicemail is working fine. (I’m amused by the suggestion that if it wasn’t, I’d have time to be posting here on Tek-Tips!) Here's the TN for DN 1234, the receptionist who is doing the forwarding: TN 011 0 00 12 TYPE 500 CDEN 8D CUST 0 DN 1234 0 MARP CPND NAME...

Calls that are transferred don't reach voicemail

For some reason, I just can't think of what the problem is here. When the receptionist transfers a call to certain numbers, the calls never reach our voicemail, they just ring and ring and ring. Missing/wrong CLS?

Toggle 'Name Dialable by External Callers' for 300+ VMs?

System in questions is a CS1000 Opt 11 with CallPilot 4.04: For most of our users, the 'Name Dialable by External Callers' option is disabled, but we need to enable it. We're talking 300+ VMs. Is there a way that this can be automated? Doing it through the web interface will take a very long time.

Can a DN be time-controlled and also have an XMWK?

Just to clarify for those who might stumble on this thread later, here’s a slightly more written-out description of John Poole’s solution: Assume that 5555 is the DID you’re working with, and that you have a corresponding CallPilot voicemail box of 5555. First, create a new entry in your IDC...

Can a DN be time-controlled and also have an XMWK?

John Poole: BRILLIANT! Absolutely brilliant. Exactly what I was looking for. I had to learn about IDC tables to do this, but once I got that down, I set it up and it's working perfectly. I had originally used bigindian65's suggestion (built a 500 set and hard-forwarded it to VM) but this still...

Can a DN be time-controlled and also have an XMWK?

@pruden Yeah, I know that will do it, but we really wanted to keep the VM box as 5555 and not 4444 or some other number. But, if we can't have our cake and eat it too, then so be it.

Can a DN be time-controlled and also have an XMWK?

I think the root of my question goes back to a long-time question I have: Is the only way to forward from one DN to another: 1) An ACD with NCFW (usually set to MAXP 1) 2) A PHANTOM with DCFW 3) A 500 that you manually connect a phone to and press pound one + number Is there any other way to...

Can a DN be time-controlled and also have an XMWK?

@trvlr1 -- I did that, but it doesn't fix the XMWK problem, as the only way I can get it into the voicemail is through a PHANTOM (with a DCFW) or an ACD (with an NCFW), and neither a PHANTOM nor an ACD can be a key on an M3904.
