Does anyone know if there is a way to list up all the access codes in CM 20 via SV8300 PC Pro. It used to be in the Matworx tool menu but it aint' there no mo. Anyone figured this out??
I had this same problem. The fix was to reload the Linux on the Signaling Server. I would undeploy and make sure the CS1000 system is out of the UCM. Then reload the Linux on the SS, install the first 3 patches via CLI then register it into the security domain. Then push the Linux SP to it...
Well, our system is running 7.5 and when I look at the patch on espl it damn sure is for that very issue. It is supposed to be fixed in lab release 5.75 which means 6.0 GA would be good. Which then of course means it should be good on 7.5 too. I wonder if this is a bug in 7.50. I have a case...
We are HA and I will see if that patch is in service. I did an INI last night and split then re-joined the cores but did not try lwinst with the cores split. I will try and let you know if it works.
Thanks!!
I had the same trouble,Unlike 5.5 when you use the deployment manager to install a small system database there is no option to convert the small system database. You will need to copy the config.rec and database.rec files directly into the Linux directory that stores the call server database...
It will depend on what applications you need to run. If you need NRS + SS + EM + CS then I would do the following.
Build the CPDC as the Primary Security Server, Deployment Server, and deploy the NRS/SM on it. The reason is, is that the CPDC has higher processing power than the CPMG. Should...
Hello, I installed one of the latest MGC loadware patches on a HA CS1000E running 7.5 and it is stuck in a PSDL Sync state. When I try to lwinst the next one the system says "PSDL Sync in progress wait until completed." Does anyone know a command to suspend or stop the process? I have to INI...
I tried Google Chrome as well and that performed just like Firefox. I know they have 7.7 in the Bellville labs now so hopefully they are testing with IE9 and other browsers. We just did a huge upgrade this past weekend and luckily the machines the customer has are running IE 7 so there were no...
LOL, I just emailed a Senior Engineer in Belville about it and here is his response.
Element Manager is supported on Web browser Microsoft Internet Explorer v.6.0.2600 or later.
Other Web browsers (such as Mozilla Firefox) are not supported.
I am having issues with IE8 right now and it's a pain in the ass. I keep having to click the back button to get the page to load. Does anyone know if EM can, has, or ever will work with Firefox??
Thanks for the feedback. We did change out the entire chassis and we do believe the trouble to be something interferring with the ELAN connectivity on the MGC card that controls 72 0. Currently we have ELAN/TLAN connectors connected directly to the customers 5510 Data Switches. We also have...
Hello, I am having problems on a system with a CS1000 PRI GW. The MSDL Errors keep showing up intermintently. We think the trouble could be the customer doing port scans but we can't confirm. We have swapped out the Dch DB once, then when the trouble returned we changed out the Chassis, PRI GW...
Yeah I did and I get fast busy. Can't figure out why the hell it won't go. Your Xlite phone should show as a registered User Endpoint in your NRS. If however you don't have a Linux COTS server running SIP Line then I can't say for sure what you will experience. I have a Linux COTS running...
That's funny, as I am running Linux 5.5 and I can call from my xlite to a Unistem phone but cannot call from the Unistem to the xlite. I am not sure if it's because the manual is to vague or I have a configuration mistake. I have been up and down that damn element manager so many times it's...
Hello, the first thing I would check is the Firmware release on the 2033. If you are using a CS1000 then the latest firmware release is S77. You will need to TFTP the firmware to the 2033 (the instructions are with firmware when you download it) and I would recommend Pumpkin. That is what I...
Hi Gtexx, I would recommend the following Nortel NTP. NN43001-283 Dialing Plan Reference. It will give you some ideas of how to start but whenever you try to centralize you will ultimately be at the mercy of the conflicts. Good luck and hopefully you get paid overtime!!!
Hello all, I am running CS1000E Rel. 5.5. I have two IBM 306 COTS servers. One Running VxWorks and one running Linux. I have the Xlite 3.0 registered to the SPS as a user endpoint in the NRS and can call a regular Unistem IP phone registered on the same node. When I try to call the Xlite...
Hello, I am currently am having issues with SIP Line on Release 5.5 for CS1K as well. My configuration called for 1 COTS server running Vxworks and One COTS running Linux. The Linux server/NRS is where you build user endpoints for the SIP phones to register and the VxWorks machine will be used...
