    SOLVED! I don't know if this could be of some help for someone, but all I did was reset BIOS to default settings. After this some IP/DNS problems solved flushing DNS cache. Thank you all for your quick replays. scrAb_

    windows 2003 domain. trying to logon to domain from my xp client, i got "network cable unplugged" but it's NOT. So i couldn't sync with shares on the server nor logon to it.     subnet mask is 255.255.255.248, so I have only 6 IP to assign. I can access shared folders from server to client, but i can't login into the client as Domain\Administrator (fool) So I login as normal user and gain access to the shared folders on the server as Domain\Administrator....:O ???
