You can also use LockSmith or similar Linux tools to reset the passwords on these NT Systems. Not that I'd recommend to still be running them in this day & age!

Is that by dragging the BEM files across from a install on a W7 machine?

The issue may be that rather than it being a line level input, it's now a headphone level (amplified) input.

Yep, it's the data values I'm after for the 299 upgrade keycode.
I'm trying to build a web tool for license management, incorporating the password of the day stuff, that I can use to maintain my systems. Atm we have half a dozen or so production systems, and that again in my stock/lab systems...
Yep, I'm aware of the releases - I'm looking for the upgrade keycode values - will be in the license files. There are specific values for each upgrade which need to be applied in order, so I'm trying to figure out the right values for my guide :)

Hi All
I'm trying to figure out some of the upgrade values in the license files on the BCM50.
I know that 210 is R1 to R2, 211 is R1 to R3 and 212 is R2 to R3. I believe 230 is R2 to R6. But could anyone else help fill in the blanks?
Cheers!

I made a few breakthroughs on the CDR front yesterday, and I've just written it up on my Blog for anyone interested.
Basically it's possible to pull data from the BCM50 (and probably the 450) without using the nortel supplied applications.
It's not complete - I don't know what the app is...
It won't install. Annoying really. I'm using an older version. Same on Server 2012 R2.

Right, we've found the problem - the config on lines 3&4 wasn't right at the exchange - and as the BCM dials out on the highest line number, this was going out on a circuit with the config that was wrong! All fixed now, and I had it all programmed right which is a relief :)

It's always handy to run a CDR Pull with the delete switch. If you fill the partition, it screws the BCM up and you have to do a reset (or get avaya to SSH in and delete the files).

Yep - thanks for that David. Still tearing my hair out at it, supposedly openwoe have adjusted something at the exchange, but still no joy. I reckon what you suggested will be right. Makes sense at least!

So according to this trace here, we seem to be sending the right info...

Aha,
"DDIs are applied to ISDN lines operating in point-to-point configuration (also known as 'system access' or 'T reference point configured lines'). You should check that your equipment supports this."
So looks like it's set correctly...

Hi Snowman50
Right, what you've said makes *some* sense to me, but not a huge amount.
The ISDN2's are a pair of Lines, so 4 channels on a single number (with a block of 10 DDI's).
My Loops (which I think is where I need to be looking) says that each Loop (501-504) are Type: T, Protocol: Euro...
I've seen issues before caused by expansion cabinets, had one in Swindon where I ended up swapping the cabinet, psu and brim and problem was solved. Dunno which of the bits was the fault of course, but they're so cheap...

Yep, we've had COLP turned off and back on a few times, to no avail. They reckon the DDI range is set right too. How can I ensure the BCM is set right?

Hi All!
Here's a fun one for you all :) I have a BCM50 R1 with a BRI-ST (Not a BRI-ST4) here in the UK. Region and such all set right, and talking happily to the network for calls in/out.
Manglement want to present a number midway through our DDI range, I have the Public OLI on the sets in...
Yep, no prime set, and it's private number is empty. No change with ring of 0 or 2.

No, never solved this one. One of our BCM's behaves as it should, the other does not - identical software revisions etc.
