I have an IP Office 500 (using 5410 + 5420's) I am wondering how I change the ringer to differentiate internal and external calls. Right now a user cannot hear the difference between an external call coming in and someone transferring a call to them....they have to look at the display.
Thanks
Yes we use 9 to get a line...
I can sometimes link it to slow dialing or even "fast" dialing to...
Dialing repeat digits is the only way i can replicate the problem right now.
Thanks
Here is some more information...
The tone is actually a "busy tone" and not the same as one you get if you don;t get an outside line...
Also it looks like the Monitor displays:
CALL LOST (CMCauseUnallocatedNumber)
Have an IP Office 500 system setup and working just fine...
About 10-20% of the time when a user dials a call, half way through dialing they get the tone you get as if you didn't dial 9 to start the call, yet they did start with a 9...there is a free line available so that is not the issue...
The user that is attempting to retrive the VM for the Hunt Group is both a member of the group, the phone also rings when the hunt group rings.
And a password is set for the VM on the hunt group.
How do I setup remote access for a Hunt Group VM...
I setup short code to CollectVM for the Hunt Group...when I dial the short code I get "Remote Access is not configured on this mailbox"...i have set a Voicemail Code set in the Hunt Group settings...
Also how do i get Broadcast to work...i...
I am pretty sure it is upgraded...is there a way to check this?
What i think i need to do is tell the system how long after no answer to send to VM...i am not sure how to do this.
Thanks
Matthew
