We are sending some calls out to an external company but if they are busy or don't answer, we want the call to stay with us. I am trying to find out if I can get any type of control with a vector step "route-to number 918005551212 cov n' for example. If my calls goes out to that external...
Hi Everyone:
Not sure if this is the right forum. Does anyone have experience with the company Five9 or eLoyalty? If my company signs a contract to get phone service from Five9 or eLoyalty, what exactly would they provide?
I know they would be hosting the phone service and giving us...
On an Aura call center, I want to make one skill jump in front of the line over another skill group. I have multiple agents all getting calls for the same multiple skills. Because of reporting requests, the skills have to remain broken out separately. From my pool of agents, I want to make it...
My user has call-forwarding off-net setup to their cell and it works some of the time. If I call via the Automatic Attendant, dial the ext, the call forwards to their cell--no problem. If I call to the front desk attendant, ask her to transfer me to the ext, it fails. Operator does...
I have created an Audix bulletin mailbox and recorded a nice greeting. It plays but the call won't hang up. I really need to do this as a voicemail and not a VDN/vector(don't ask). Why is this a problem? Is there some reason the bulletin board mailboxes won't hang up nicely after playing...
I got a modem with Bell mode but that didn't work either. I logged with Avaya but they said they can't help--call IT.
I would think this would be a known issue since my whole group is in the same boat. Newer laptops which no longer come with internal modems don't like connecting with Octel...
I can't tell if my modem supports Bell mode and the doc is pretty useless.
I did see one for sale that supports bell 212A and Bell 103. Would that do it?
Are there any settings or commands I needed to add? If I just get one that supports Bell mode, would that do it? No settings to change...
Having problems getting our new laptops with external USB modems to connect with our Octel 200's. Old laptops with internal modems worked fine connecting to these same Octels.
I can dial into the Octel and get the nice login screen. As I type the 2nd or 3rd letter of my password, the...
Intuity Audix. I have employees who aren't allowed to have mailboxes (no messages can be left for them). How can I allow the auto Attendant to direct calls to these employees' phones without really giving them a voicemail box? The AA needs something to recognize them and send calls to their...
We have a Definity programmed with a vector auto attendant. The calls roll to the Intuity Audix vm with the vector command "messaging skill 99 for extension 3500". This currently works great for the majority of users who have voicemail boxes. How can I let calls to my non-voicemail holding...
Our location is getting a new generator. We will be powering off Friday night and leaving everything off for about 24 hours. Once generator is in and all power cords moved over, we will turn everything back on. Should I skip the shutdown command? Can I run the DEX 1 command ahead of time...
I need to remotely power down and then up an Octel 200. I do have someone onsite who will be able to hit the power switch but they won't be able to log into the system. If I log in remotely and do the "SHUTDOWN" command on the Octel, how will the system start running again later? I won't be...
What should I look at to see why the actual zip noise isn't coming to one of my agents when she gets a call presented via auto answer? The "auto answer with headset" is working correctly and forcing the calls to her, she just isn't getting the little warning noise. She is the only one with the...
Can you tell me what cable I need to connect directly to an Octel 300 with a laptop? I know the vendor has done it and he uses Procomm. How do I do it? What settings in Procomm? Our normal method is dialing into the modem but it is hung for some reason and I need to get in. Thank you, Kimberly
We are looking to offer numerous hoteling cubes in various locations in our large building. The main problem is that these new hoteling cubes are not managed by someone, the visiting employees will come and go on their own. There won't be an admin who can assist if the user has a problem...
Have you thought about making your attendant an ACD agent? that would be an option if you have ACD. You design call flow and have her log in or out as needed. Still using the 302 console equipment. Handy since other operators can log in from their desk when covering.
