A call comes in - we put the person on hold, and then transfer them (feature 70 or whatever) to an outside cell line. We have 6 office lines total here so there's always an open one to make the transfer.
Let me know what other info you need. Thanks!
I'm a few blocks away at Clinton and Roosevelt (Kale Realty). If you can find it in your heart to walk me through the steps I'll send lunch over to you!
Thanks!
We have a number of Comcast lines connected to our Nortel phones.
There's a way to Feature 70 and then transfer the call to an outside line. Obviously it needs a spare line to do this (we have plenty). I just forgot where to add the number to dial in the directory.
Hope this helps.
Sorry in advance. I can't figure this out. :)
When we receive inbound support calls I would like to be able to set up a Feature 70 (call transfer) that dials an outside line and connects. In this case it's a cell-phone we'd be transferring the call to.
I know this is possible but I have no...
I'm sure this is an easy fix, but I can't figure it out for the life of me.
In programming (admin) mode, want to assign a different line to line 4 button on my phone. Switch a few lines with line buttons on handset.

Okay - need to reopen thread.
I was able to make the extensions "unassigned" - but when the agents pick up the phone, not only does it default to those two lines, it allows them to dial out.
Strangely, they can't receive calls on those lines (which is good)
I'm not sure how to block their...
We have a few phone extensions where we don't want certain lines to ring.
Ex - Ext. 34 should not have access to line 6
How would I go about setting that up? Any help is appreciated - thanks!
