Hi
Does anyone know how to block calls from a specific number that are being dialled from the public network into our MX-One?
I realise that number_conversion allows me to 'select' the calling 'A' number but cannot see a way to change it to a different destination/extension.

Have been to 2 meetings at Mitel - the Ericsson/Aastra MX-One and Solidus will be the flagship 'Corporate' offerings from Mitel from now on.
The traditional Mitel telephone systems and CC's will still be offered to SME & existing customers.
Hi
I have a large MX-One system with the same MP issue.
Whatever anyone says on here, this is a known issue with MP running on large systems. I believe the delay is something to do with the way MP gathers its information from all LIM's prior to allowing any changes - possably to do with the...
Thanks for the prompt response. It was useful to validate our settings were were ironically correct.
Our problem (now sorted) was that we entered our actual server addresses, whereas we should have entered our alias addresses which we have assigned to the MX-One.
Hi
Has anyone on here set up a SIP route between an MX-One and another PBX (particularly Mitel MN3300)?
Any config prints from a working inter-PBX SIP route would be appreciated as I am struggling to understand the examples given in the Astra documentation which only appear to show a PBX to...
This is not as easy to achieve as you may think.
As Trvlr1 states it is quite common to be able to park a call and then pick it up from any extension (directed call pick-up).
However, for a fully automated system (as we alos require) we would need the Auto-Atendant to both send the call to a...
Hi Guys
I am running MX-One Ver 3.2
Sorry - I missed that ENT has 2000 entries, still it doesn't really help though.
My issue is purely incoming private N/W calls where I will be getting a mixture of calls to my old 4 digit numbers and my new 5 digit numbers - where both types of number have...
Hi
I am moving from 4-digit extensions to 5-digit extensions - by prefixing all existing extension numbers with a '3'.
I am looking for a method of identifying callers coming in over my network connections who have dialled the old extension number (with insufficient digits) and to send them to...
If you are still struggling to upgrade the IP5446 phones I have a recollection that might help you.
We are on 3.2 SP4 with the latest firmware loaded, and tried to install some (still boxed) 18 month old IP5446 phones. They also refused to upgrade, and the problem was identified as being down...
Hi
We have bought a batch of 2nd hand M3310 phones and configured them for use on our Opt 81.
The phones are defined as type 2616 but we cannot get any of the vertical keys to respond. The phones are working but as an analogue i.e. make and recieve calls by lifting handset.
Can anyone confirm...
Hi
This parameter is currently set to 0 - I assumed that this was the minimum!
The manual says that this is set in 30 second increments - does this not mean that 20 is not a valid setting?
I guess that a 0 may mean do not force release - I will also try other values e.g. 20.
I reduced the timings again and also altered other parameters and the current situation is as follows:
From a Digital phone I can now dial into the Bleeper system and everything works - other than the fact that the line locks up for about a minute after every time the Bleeper system is...
Hi guys - I do appreciate your responses.
As is normal practice I reset the timer values back to default after proving that they didn't help. I can easily set them back.
Regarding the MOH and CDR settings - this route was previously used for a PSTN route and these are left over from then -...
Good point about the Voicemail systems - it's getting late in the UK!
The lines are set to DTMF - the first string does get sent & recieved OK.

I have been reading other posts on Tek-Tips and I see that some responses say that once a call is answered it is not possible to send any further DTMF. Is it possible that this is my problem - although I would have expected local keypad DTMF from an analogue phone to still get through?
