This may be an old subject. Sorry in advance if so...
Customers are complaining of a lack of browser access after some Windows updates. I've tried a few things but haven't found the magic bullet yet.
Is there a browser that works well for ICP R5 systems?
Could always get them to use secure...
Thanks so much to both Mitelmike2010 and SXWizard for your replies. I sincerely appreciate it. Glad to hear about various devices working fine. I may go with the Mediatrix as that is a brand we've used on other equipment.
Again, many thanks!
Dave

Looking for a good FXS gateway for a vMCD platform. The SIP COE doc is pretty old. At this point we just have a minimalistic need to support analog conference phones.
Would the newer Mediatrix 4104 be a good choice? The COE doc insinuates that there are "issues" with call transfer, and m/w. I...
Let me preface this by saying I am a diehard Mitel fan and have been for almost 30 years. Ahem... (soapbox mode on).
What Mitel needs to do is get off the VMware bandwagon (except for the core OS) and do these things immediately if not sooner. All of the following things need to be embedded in...
This happens to many systems, not just yours...
Anti static spray on the carpet and chairs helps a lot.
Touch something else that's grounded before bringing the handset to the ear.
Use the speakerphone.
Try a headset.

Did you re-use universal NSU, or convert to embedded PRI cards?
Maybe an NSU failed an upgrade or died.
Try swapping one of the 2 working links to the 3rd bad one...
Or, swap the NSU's around?

Odd...
What are the analog ports for? Phones? Fax?
Disable conferencing or look for disconnect signalling?
Nice one.

I saw that too...
It occurs to me that it just follows in line with the rest of the apps that are created. The thing that is odd is that we are the ones doing the ultimate creation of the finished product...
Hmmm...

Are these things in the same room/subnet? Or over extended LAN/WAN?
Are they both programmed as peers?
We have SIP trunked another 3300/Toshiba CIX so far. On the Toshiba the Mitel could not access the Toshiba trunks but desk to desk worked.
Does the Hi Path need authentication...
Cool!
Did you get your hands on it Matt?
What were the most intriguing things?
I like the possibility of virtualization.
Also the OCS lookalike...
I need to watch the PP again.
Must admit though... I don't really want to install another 2 and then have to re-install from scratch to 3.
Good... no...
It's coming but not here yet...
The blurb/powerpoint shows some very interesting features and for collab gets it's hooks into the W part of AWC. So... you guessed it...wave goodbye to YA collab...

You are saying that if I log in to my vmail box there are no messages? Then, I log in to my vmail box the next day and there are messages from BEFORE I logged in yesterday?
If so, we have all seen this before on various products.
Sounds like a hard drive issue, perhaps with indexing...
At first it sounded like a DNS problem and then I re-read your post.
Can a user actually get to the AWC web page?
If so and can't login, I wonder if it's a router issue?

BCCIII cards are computers unto themselves.
They get their upgrade info from the controller (200ICP) upon install/reboot.
I am concerned that the software level on the 200ICP is older than the firmware on the new BCCIII card.
What is the software version on the 200?
200 systems reboot based on a...
KWB,
I think what LoopyLou is refering to is the fact that OPSman will be discontinued in 4.1

LoopyLou you are reading my mind.

It occurs to me that the investment into legacy 4150 sets may be a bad way to go (only my opinion).
Looks like you have those sets on hand already though yes?
How is the network looking?
Would a "bolt on" MXe do the job with some equiv IP sets?
Money is the issue I'm sure but I wonder what the...
Curious to know why you are asking???
I agree with both of you in that I know of no way to stiffle this.
What gives?

Cool, just tried it to call my office from my home. Then used it to call a business in Winnipeg.
Both worked fine.
Based on the fact that you are calling a 1800 number, I feel that there is no cost at all to the user. Just air time for cell users I suppose.
Guess I'll have to scrutinize my next...
