I need to extract a report in which we need to tell the total number of audio files are there in ACR and CRS yearly. Like how many files are there in 2016, 2017 etc. Any help?
OK got it. One more thing, if out of 100 users, 30 are IPOCC agents then we do not need VM channels for these agents for call recording, right? IPOCC agent license covers call recording?
We have Avaya IPO Server Edition (v. R10) with an additional hard drive for call recording.
Question is what licenses are required to record calls for 100 users. Do we need VMPRO Recordings Administrator license or 100 ports recording channel licenses or both?
Had a SE Primary server 9.1 hardware failure. Got a similar server so I just took out the hard drive from faulty SE primary server and put it in pare one. Everything seems to be working fine. We have v2 as an expansion module.
I thought licenses would go invalid as they are based on mac...
Tried both on Soft Phones and 1608 IP Phones. Hunt group name ABC is in members' source number as HABC but still no indication on soft phones or IP Phones.
I am using a call flow having Leave Mail box where destination is hunt group ABC mailbox.
As i said, messages are going to hunt group ABC...
Ok just read in system status about Message Waiting...If the user has an unread mssage, this will be On. If the personal messages have been read, this will be Off. So I guess it has nothing to do with settings.
Could you please tell me what am I doing wrong? There is no MWI on agents phones...
Hunt group name: ABC
Extension: 218
Members: 210, 211, 212
On hunt group voicmeail tab, voiemail code 1234 is also given (do not know if it is necessary or not).
Source number HABC is added to all three users 210, 211, 212.
VM pro is in IP Office mode. Avaya IPO version 9.0
But there is no...
Receptionist answers an inbound call and transfers it to user 709. Customer wants this transferred call to return back to the receptionist once the caller is done talking with user 709.
And yes they don't want 709 to transfer caller back to the receptionist once done talking. More like...
Well that opinion is based on observations. Pretty much every call center I know of does call recording but may be you have a different experience. Each to their own :)
Just that customer finding the fact that they can log in up to 150 agents in CCR makes it difficult to convince them to move...
Statistical application for you may be but Avaya likes to call its advanced edition license a call center suite. Even worse, customers usually go with Avaya. And never said that call recording is a part of ccr but an essential part of call center.
And I think only upto 30 agents can be logged...
Misleading becuase call recording is one the essential parts of call center solution. So if Avaya claims that its advanced editon supports up to CCR 150 agents then it should have increased recording channels as well. Like I said, this tall claim of supporting 150 agents should have come with...
Well customer is using CCR for some years now and gradually they have increased the number of agents. Now they have this avaya advanced edition brochure which states that it supports upto 150 agents.
Avaya should have added a note or something that CCR is intended for small sized call center...
According to doc, advanced edition supports up to 150 agents. And you can get up to only 40 VM channels if using VM PRO.
So if 70 CCR agents are logged in and 50 of them are on the call, then only 40 calls are recorded assuming all VM channels are reserved for recording.
It doesn't make sense...
I have recreated an SD card to 9.1.9.0.182 service pack 9 which is just released two weeks back. Can I turn on a brand new IPO 500V2 with this SD card or it is better to first turn on the new IPO with an SD card 9.1 GA and then upgrade it to new service pack.
When IPO pops up on search via manager, along with name and IP addeess, it shows the version of SD card.
When you run the upgrade wizard, version/release under licensed field is what your control unit is locked on.
Getting this right?
Well yes seems like a better idea to upgrade the system without the combo cards. But what if it then requires a second upgrade to accept the combo cards? Would all the fields be grayed out accept the combo cards' fields in an upgrade wizard? Or it will upgrade the whole system?
Nothing like getting two opposite answers :p
I know upgrade wizard also upgrades expansion units along with an IPO. Do base/combo cards also get upgraded. If yes then upgrading an IPO without them in it makes them on different version?
Tried fitting two combo cards (700504556) in IPO 8.1.56. They started showing red light. Figured out this particular combo card works with 8.1.63 or higher.
So I have installed Manager 8.1.73 on my PC to upgrade the IPO. Just want to know should I take the combo cards out and then upgrade the...
