Press "5" (record) if the CallPilot in question is on a Nortel PBX. Also press "5" if using the SL-1/M1 command set on a BCM or Norstar based CallPilot. Press "#" on these systems if they use the Norstar commmand set.
Seems like all the configuration items are covered. A few thoughts:
- In your call routing example is CallPilot transfering to a number within the 81C that is routed back to the 11C via NARS/BARS such as a CDP steering code? From my experiance TAT and TRO require that the call be routed via a...
Usually you can hear MerMail reading the Hardrive. The sound is similar to older PC reading it's hardrive. Also once MerMail is power up enter the AX command on the PBX - and wait. At a certain point you should be able to see the MerMail boot process on the screen.
With your last post it looks like the AML is enabled and in the "auto" state. In this state reseating the PBX SSC card likely is not required. The state and on/off sequence of the green MerMail light does change during the boot process. Can you hear the "hardrive at work sound" when MerMail...
You can try disabling the aml link then enl aml X acms.
What does does AML001 stand for...
Yes, go ahead and reseat the Meridian Mail cards. If the PBX sees the AML link as "not responding" you may have to power down the PBX and reseat SSC card.
MerMail does take it's time rebooting. About...
How is the call routing back to the source PBX? Xfer? FNA? Call forward all calls? And how is that DN programmed in the redirecting PBX?
If not present add MSDL in the RCAP of each D-channel. Check NTP as correct responce might be MSL, MSL...??? Stands for the far end D-Channel is...
Once upon a time we had some phase 1 3904 sets on a switch running release 23 and progammed as 2616 sets. They worked fine. Just had to manually label the keys. Key labels were lost if the phone was unplugged.
Running on Windows 2003 standard we have a new installation of Contact Center Manager 6.0 with CCMS and CCMA co-located on the same server. All known Nortel patches are up to date as are all MicroSoft patches. All works well except we can not access the Skillset list in either the user defined...
Trusted site in the IE configuration on the client PC? Change the trusted site prefix from http to https? Just a thought as I have never dealt with SSL on servers running Nortel applications.
Make sure the AML link is enabled on the PBX. See LD 48 for the exact command. It is likely ENL AML X ACMS. During the bootup process at the point were the MerMail boot process screen states "Fox Security Check" card option Meridian Mail systems complete a security check by verifing the system...
Is this PBX an Option 11C? And is the expansion cabinet connected to the main cabinet via a copper cable? If so this connection will need to be converted over to fiber in order for the PBX to support an ELAN/network port which is required for CallPilot. To the best of my knowledge CallPilot...
Does the PBX see the voice mail ports as trunks or stations? If trunks the PBX can be programmed to not display the digits dialed (end to end signaling - EES) after the connection is established. Don't know if the same can be done with a station to station call.
With ESA/OSN you can have 9-911 and 911 dialing but not 9-911 instead of 911 dialing. ESA/OSN (ld 24) has a mind of its' own. Digits are sent out the trunk as dialed and TGAR values are ignored.
Keep the TGAR issue in mind when activating ESA/OSN on systems with TDM remote sites such as...
The FRL in the RDB (ld 16) come into play on direct trunk access (code restrictions) so they shouldn't be the issue here.
dlesap: Can you provide setup details on Traveling NCOS. Is it a simple setup?
using a Virtual Trunk to get back for PSTN access" is the issue.
When the call routes back to the SBO it uses the NCOS of the SBO virtual trunk (ld 14) and not the NCOS of the phone. Restricting remote office IP phones has to be handled in the Home PBX.
Unless there is a way to have traveling...
