Thanks for the feedback. F*1 and F*2 is pretty much the same concept as going to an extensions Nortel settings. F*1 inputs the extension alone and F*2 makes it a XXXB button, meaning autodial and no ring. I tried it and it gave me the same response as XXXR and XXXB.

What kind of router do you have on both ends? I have had this issue with an older router on the user end. Double check the ports. RTP is your voice path so there may be a conflict. They can see each other over the 7000 port, so that's why it's able to call each other

O.K. after many hours of research I have found the correct place for this. it is under Bix block cabling for peripheral devices and I found it within the rls 13 mermail cd. I also found a better NTP 555-7071-210 that shows a diagram and gives a better description of the RSM break out cable.

Moved to another card and still have the same issue. It will ring for a while and then just blink when a call comes in. I will swap the console to see if the problem follows and post back.
