    MAPD Measurements

Hi, Does anyone know of a way to measure the amount of traffic in one day on a MAPD. Is it simply a case of measuring the messages and that will give a sum total of the messages in a twelve hour period; the reason being is my customer is looking at whether they need another one or not. Thanks...

    credit card swipe machines

Update - We blamed it on the machine and kept it on the DEL so not really a resolution but fixed anyway and a happy customer.

    credit card swipe machines

The next update is as follows: The DTMF Tone; Avaya have just told me there is a patch for this so watch this space and I will update this thread as to whether it fixes the problem. The PDQ problem has reared its ugly head again; it is a Barclays cardmate type PDQ machine. It will not work on...

    credit card swipe machines

hi alamkotoh, I have got somewhere with this; the switch is sending a # as the speed dials are the problem. Because it is waiting for another digit I have to put # suppression on the trunk group to stop the tone. I am not convinced this is the correct way as on the old switch it is not set up...

    credit card swipe machines

I am still having an issue with this tone; the call is made and goes out to a carrier then when it is picked up by an agent the agent gets a tone in his/her ear. It is a single DTMF tone but frustrating as it wasn't there on the old system. I could trawl around all of the system settings and...

    Analogue Disconnect

This was all to do with the recall timers not being set when provision copied the config across. The upper and lower bounds were not set correctly.

    credit card swipe machines

Thanks for the advice. Point 1 can be closed as Provision didn't make the changes to the upper and lower bounds causing the analogues to disconnect later than they should have. I changed them and all is okay now. Point 2 is still a problem however... I get a tone when a call is made to an...

    Analogue Disconnect

Hi, We have just upgraded to CM3.1.3 from a 9.5 G3R and are having issues with analogue handsets; they are as follows: When we put the cradle down and go to dial another number the line stays open unless we hold the cradle for about a second this looks something like thread 690-1269793. Was...

    credit card swipe machines

Hi, I have two questions that I hoped I could get some answers for. 1) I have just upgraded my old G3R switch to CM3.1.3 and we now have problems with the PDQ card swipe machines in that they don't work. I have the codec set to pass-through and can make fax calls no problem and have made modem...

    4602 Issues

I have a 4602 handset and I can't get it to register. It interrogates the tftp server and downloads the 46xxsettings.scr and 46xxsettings.txt file but then shows with a tftp file not found. Could any one possibly supply me with the .scr and .txt files and possibly identify what the third file is...

    G3R to S87xx migration issues

We have an upcoming migration and need to watch out for anything that will bite us. At the moment we can see our biggest issue is going to be keeping announcements as the old system has TN750 C's and we need to go to VAL boards. Does anyone have any advice on what we need to do in order to...

Has anybody got any other suggestions? Thanks

Modem Toggling between active and stanby servers

We are not dialling the server immediately after it is quite a bit of time afterwards. So the active will have had time to go to stable

Modem Toggling between active and stanby servers

Has anyone seen this before? I have an two S8700 duplicated servers running CM 3.0 with the latest patches on them but when I dial into them the modems toggle between the active and standby instead of just answering on the active server. The modems firmware has been upgraded. Any ideas?
