    @amriddle, You assume correctly. @tlpeter, I've tried different headsets with correct HIS cord. I'd have to look up the product codes, but i think it doesn't matter. Same behavior even if i disconnect headset cord all together.

    @amriddle, You didn't read the OP correctly Default audio path is set to headset The problem is that the headset won't disconnect after the call unless you press headset button This stopped working correctly with the last firmware update.

    That's just it. I use the same setting file and only upgrade the ip handset firmware. The problem with these sets is that the amplifier circuit is 'cheap', causing white noise on headsets when idle but not on-hook.
