Network communication error - System Status connects fine

    Sorry, failing at quotes.

Network communication error - System Status connects fine

I do, and it finds it. When I connect and put in the Admin login, those errors pop up after a minute or so.

Network communication error - System Status connects fine

For what it's worth, it responds to ping, and nothing is using its IP address. I've fixed it in the past by holding in the AUX button in the back to restart it during off hours. After I do that, it will work fine for a few days, never when I need to actually get in and add users though.

Network communication error - System Status connects fine

Hi all, The past few times I've used Manager over our network, I get two errors. First: "Manager is configured for secure communication. Do you wish to proceed with unsecure communication for this system?" Clicking yes and waiting brings another error: "Network error - Failed to communicate...

    How to find handoff type

Thanks for all your help, I'm sure I'll be back :)

    How to find handoff type

Yeah... I don't know most of the behind the scenes of our phone service, I'm mostly in charge of IP Office administration (adding users, forwarding, etc...), but they threw this on my plate because of Windstream totally dropping the ball during an office move. We were without service for a week...

    How to find handoff type

That's what I was worried about - the fax lines can likely be ported (there are 4 total lines). Will IP Office work with a VoIP connection?

    How to find handoff type

Hi all, We're in the process of switching providers from Windstream (former Paetec) to Verizon, and Verizon had some questions I'm not sure about (I inherited the phone system admin title :/ ): Hand-off type (Analog or Digital): I'm not sure which we're using. With Windstream, we have a T1...

    Backup PRI?

That's what I thought. tampasteve1, When our PRI went down a few months ago, I forwarded our mainline number to a Google Voice account, and it worked fine to at least allow folks to leave a voicemail. I suppose that's similar to what you're doing. If anyone else has some more input, I'd...

    Backup PRI?

Hi everyone, Right now, we use Windstream, and have two T1's - one as our main, and another as a backup. Is this even worth doing? Since they're both from the same provider, I suspect whatever would cause one to go down would also take the 2nd T1 with it. Also, am I right in that using a PRI...

    Voice service providers

Hi everyone, Right now, we're using Windstream (they bought out Paetec, our original provider) for our PRI. I was curious if anyone had recommendations for other companys to provide service. If you migrated from Windstream to a new service, and prefer the new service, I'd be very curious to...

    Admin R9 download

Hi all, Our server went down, and we're in the process of restoring it, but the software folder hasn't been restored yet. I was curious where a non-vendor can download Admin.zip, specifically Voicemail Pro 9 and Manager R9. Our vendor charged us for a remote session last time to transfer the...

Digital conference speakerphone compatible with IP Office 9.

Hi All, Currently we have an Avaya 5410 Digital Handset in our conference room, and while it does do speakerphone, the powers that be want a fancy UFO looking conference room phone. They ordered one without consulting me (Polycom Soundstation VTX1000), and it's not compatible with IP Office...
