Exactly! one girl is in this guys coverage path as well as having him bridged to her phone....but oddly enough, she's not the one with the problem on her phone.
I'm going to look at some of the errors to this girl's extension number. I saw a few things that raise an eyebrow, so I'm going to...
I'll bring this up to our internal support engineers. I remember doing a reset system 4 long ago...can't remember exactly where that's done.
Thank you for your quick response. I really appreciate it....
Recently I've come across some odd issues with bridged call appearances. One Admin. Asst. stated that shortly after adding this bridged appearance of this new hire to her phone, his phone would ring and hers too at the same time, but only briefly. Not long enough to even catch caller id. and...
Hope someone can shed some light on this subject. It's been quite a while since I've worked with these phones. An administrative end user has two phones that are showing this on the phone screen. Even after many reboots, and using the reset code, the phone still shows this on the screen. I...
I'm not quite sure what this means....could someone help? I've been asked to look into why this primary CDR Link is and has been down for over a week. I've checked everything, all the steps of the initial programming and everything looks fine. I can ping the call accounting box so it's not...
I'm looking to get greater detail on what document this information came from. I can't seem to find it or any PCN's or PSN's on the subject. We came across this issue last night and I tested it until and after I found this posting. could you link the actual document to this thread please?

Hello Jamie,
looking to speak with you about your TEO integration with Avaya.
We happen to have a similar scenario and would like to ask you a few questions if you have the time.
we've installed Tone Commander 7810 POE SIP phones on a full Avaya system; Session Manger, System Manager...the works.
However we're starting to see some issues with these TEO phones and the way they are programmed.
Some issues are with Bridged Appearances. Bridging another TEO extension onto a...
I'm having the same problem. I don't know how wide spread the issue is, because we only here from the occassional person, but the problem does exist. I can't figure out why it's not logging people out when the time has expired. I'll be interested in seeing responses to these questions.
You can't get Agents to ring at the same time. Agents are supposed to receive calls one at a time. Calls are meant to be delivered one at a time. The only way you can get multiple phones to ring at the same time on a given incoming call is to used Bridged Appearances or to use a Coverage...
if your Console Parameters pages shows System as your List three, then enter the command; Change Abbreviated-Dial System. the DC is the Dial Code within the System list. so if it's DC 97 go find number 97 within the System list and change what's there.
but be forewarned that what ever you...
Are you using extension numbers in LYNC to get the call forwarded?
I've found that you can not use extension numbers...because LYNC is a separate server, it has to dial out to those forwarded locations using your Avaya system resources. So your entries have to have a full phone number in...
I know there are a lot of posts on how to properly configure entries to make Notify Me work properly, but because there are a lot of them, I can't seem to make any of them work properly.
Would anyone know what the characters mean in a dial string entry such as commas, amersand, hyphens, what...
As with all technology as it advances, new admin commands usually are added to keep pace. Finding the "list multimedia ip-stations" command was terriffic. Cuts down on having to compare a "list station" to a "list registered" print out....but with the addition and more frequent use of the IP...
Is there a way to create a printable list or report of stations based upon the field "IP Phone Group ID" usage? Without having to display every single station record to view page 3 for the ID entry, it's difficult to determine who has been assigned to what IP Phone Group ID.
Thank you for all your input and replies. All very good information...especially the capacities documentation. I thought I had that doc downloaded, but didn't. Very good information. I guess I'll just have to watch for the potential for being locked out again.
you may try going into your phone menu options: Options and SEttings; Call settings; Go To PHone Screen on Ringing. Change from YES (default) to NO...this may keep you on the active line rather than jumping to the bridged line that's ringing.
