Here is a sample of how to look at and change your Digit Manipulation. This is assuming you are using AC1 for both local and long distance.

Thanks for all the advice. I did a restart of both cores, the primary first followed by the secondary 30 seconds later. This seemed to clear the problem up.
You can find out and change the inserted digits in the Digit Manipulation Index (DMI) table for you long distance calls in NARS/BARS.
Use ld 90 to find your Route List Index (RLI) for your long distance calls.
Then use LD 86 to find out which DMI the RLI is using and to change the DMI.
I can...
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately this is happening will all 500+ phones. Its not just the M3904's either, the few M2616's we have also are doing the same thing.
I've INI'd, swapped cores and restarted the switch to no avail.
What card(s) recieve the on-hook indication and changes the...
Here's a strange one. I have a CS1K running 5.0 and starting yesterday all of the M3904 phones started acting up. When you hang them up, they no longer return to the idle display screen. The call timer still goes, and what ever display tree you were on remains until you hit the goodbye key...
You can add additional date control boxes and link them together. Just link the "outside" of your existing Date Control box to the input of your new Date Control box.
I created the file and managed to get it into the /u/pub/ directory. When I tried switching over to it in LD 117, I get the following error:
SRPT201 File and/or directory operation errors detected: In banner.txt file first should contain the marker banner.txt: errno = 0x0
Is the file...
We have a requirement to change the login banner on our system. I know you can load a different banner in LD117, but the NTPs states the command will use a custom banner contained in the Banner.txt file located at /u/pub/ banner.txt.
I checked that location, and the file does not exist.
I...
Thanks for advice. When I changed TNs, I built new phones using our standard 2616 Template in Telephony Manager and outed the old TNs. The phones are single users and not part of an ACD group.
We have two main routes out of the switch. I check both and TFD is set to 0. IENB is set to 5...
All three phones were in different shelves and all three are established users that have been on board 2 years or more and none are using headsets. The dropped calls are coming from all areas of the country, most being local calls. Don't think it is a set issue because it happens when they...
I'm not really sure where to look for this one. I have 3 users (out of 500) that are having off-switch calls dropping sporadically. These calls drop between 5:05 and 5:15 minutes in duration. I searched my last two months call records for call lasting 5 to 5:15 minutes in length, and most...
Thank you. I'll change the route to RRB. The NTP says RBB will start with the next lower trunk than the one seized. Does the switch keep track of the last trunk seized on the route?
I have a route that uses four commercial phone numbers for our 911 service. During routine checks I noticed one of the lines was out and it happened to be the line associated with the last trunk member. This is the one that is siezed first when placing a 911 call, but the call won't go through...
The hunt on the MARP line takes it to my Callpilot system. Here is the TNB for the primary line:

I just tested the phones by placing two simultaneous calls. Both calls rang and neither was forwarded to our voicemail until they rang four times as programmed. So it appears I am able to place two simultaneous calls to this number without busying out the DN.
I'm pretty new to this, but I...
I'm having a small problem with our primary customer service line and group pickup. We currently have the Customer Service number programmed as MCR on Key0 on three phones. We have approximately 10 phones in a call pickup group that can pickup calls coming in on the primary number. We use...
I was kind of leaning towards that, but why would 20 phones act up at the exact same time? Is there a way to delete the mailboxes or the association with Meridian Mail without Meridian Mail Manger? All I have available right now is a serial connection to my meridian mail.
