Active FTP NAT source translation, ASA5520

thanks for the input. Although this doesn't actually have a solution to the problem presented. Anybody have one? thanks.

Active FTP NAT source translation, ASA5520

I'm having an issue where I have a linux server with 2 network cards. One on the "inside" and one in the "DMZ". The default gateway of this service resides in the inside subnet and is not on the ASA. I need to nat outbound traffic into the dmz interface for an FTP server. I have made the policy...

    s8300 LSP question

thanks for confirming mitch, thats what i figured. Avaya licensing is such a racket, I really ticks me off. I've never seen such draconian licensing schemes.

    s8300 LSP question

how? I tried to reconfigured the system to just be standalone but it gave me a license error. What would the correct steps be?

    s8300 LSP question

So basically I need to get avaya involved and I need to buy licenses?

    s8300 LSP question

Hi all, I have acquired a g700/s8300 system and I have dug into it some and was wondering if I can do anything with it as it stands. I have reset the dadmin password and cust password and have logged into the system. the customer-options says its g3 version v13 and the "software version"...

    avaya definitiy s8300/g700 asterisk t.38

I have successfully setup a sip trunk between asterisk and the definity and everything works very well except faxing. I have an HT502 ATA with t.38 support, asterisk is setup to support t.38 passthrough, and I have my ip-codec-set to t.38 standard for faxing. from the logs it detects the t.38 on...

Cisco trunk group and avaya p330 LAG

Right, like I was saying, active means lacp, and again, I don't think that the avaya supports 802.3ad, but I'm gonna give it a go tonight. thanks.

Cisco trunk group and avaya p330 LAG

I'm thinking what I really want is switchport mode access. I believe that the avaya switch is in the default vlan1 with no sort of tagging going on. so here is my cisco config: interface Port-channel2 description avaya-pbx switchport access vlan 410 switchport mode access ! interface...

Cisco trunk group and avaya p330 LAG

I've tried it with switch port mode access and it's not working. the avaya is in vlan1 default. I was under the impressions that "active" meant to negotiate LACP and I didn't think the p330 supported the lacp protocol but I will give that one a try. Lastly, my 2960g doesn't allow me to do encap...

Split 100 number DID block from ISDN/PRI to send to IP Fax server

I don't see why not. I do it with my system. I just change the AAR table to route my 9840-9859 (20 dids) extensions to a new route pattern that sends them out a sip trunk to an asterisk server for a remote office. Same thing should work for you, just a larger range.

Cisco trunk group and avaya p330 LAG

I originally posted this in the avaya definity forum, but I didn't get any response. I am trying to setup a LAG group to my cisco 2960g switch. I'm having trouble getting it successfully configured and was looking for any pointers. Here is the config on my cisco: interface Port-channel2...

s8300 sip trunk to asterisk voicemail

I have successfully setup a sip trunk to an asterisk server without SES and have gotten voicemail to work. My questions is in regards to MWI. The MWI does work but it goes off after about 20-30 minutes. Currently I'm using a 2420 station but It seems to me when I had a 6408D attached to the...

Question Regarding VoIP using two VLANs within the same subnet

If you're worried about the fact that you have VLAN100 and VLAN1 defined in both locations. It wont be an issue. Vlans are at layer 2 of the OSI model, once you route those packets through your mpls link you've moved now up to layer 3. You will not have any VLAN conflicts unless site a and site...

Sorry for the double forum post, my last one didn't seem to be posted correctly for me.

    G700 LAG cisco channel-group

Does anybody know the correct configuration of the p330 stack in the g700 to successfully setup a LAG channel to a cisco switch, or if it's even possible? On the cisco I've used just plain trunking with no protocol and PAgP. Seems like the lines come up but there is no IP traffic. I've tried...

    G700 LAG cisco channel-group

Does anybody know the correct configuration of the p330 stack in the g700 to successfully setup a LAG channel to a cisco switch. on the cisco I've used just etherchannel and PAgP. Seems like the lines come up but there is no IP traffic. I've tried but untagging the vlans and tagging the vlans...

thanks for the info, can you tell me the difference between the hv3 and hv20 or where I could find that info? thanks.

    TN2302AP HV20 and a G3V9

I was wondering about the compatability of the tn2302ap in my Definity system. I can't seem to find any firm documentation out there that says one way or the other whether this card will work or not. I want to add a TN2302AP card and I've see HV04 and HV20, I can't source the HV04 any more but I...
