What is the need for having both H.323 and SIP in the Avaya Aura environment? I understand that Contact Center cannot speak native SIP and that Session Manager is the routing engine but then, why the need for both SIP and H.323 phones?
SIP phones register and can have multiple registrations...
Hello,
Can someone tell me how Contact Center handles reporting in regards to DST when the clocks get set back 1hr. Do these reports get overwritten or cached, what is normal behavior? I found the listed below in a document but it only tells me that the change is included in the calculation...
I purchased an Avaya G430 with firmware 30.27.2 on it. I am looking to update that firmware, my other gateways are at 36.16.0. Does anyone know if I can upload 36.16.0 or is there some firmware in between that I must upload first and lead into the 36.16.0? If so what release or releases would I...

Does anyone have any suggestions for Avaya Aura Conference rm VOIP (H.323) phones? All I've come across so far is the Avaya B179 which has a price tag of $800.00.
We are sending billing overflow calls to an off network sub-contractor. We do not have any control over the other parties phone system.
The problem that we are running into is that when call traffic is heavy, they cannot handle our call volume. Once their Que is full, it says good-bye and...
