Hello,
Calls use a software trunk via an MPLS, real time protocol, two different sites, both autonomous.
Sorry for delay. Someone was taking care of the issue and have come up with "network issue" rather than the phone systems themseves.
Analysys of the RTP stream shows:
Max jitter = 7.26 ms...
Hello,
There's latency when a call comes in from another site (two different separate Call Managers, same company, domain, different sites but they do no seem to be directly connected), there's a one to two second delay until the calling person can hear me (us). When placing a call to them, i...
Hello,
So we know that the IT policy prevents sending emails from other non-work email addresses (yahoo, hotmail, etc). Whoever had it set up was able to at least receive emails (it is believe so) but they could not send at all from those type of email accounts. Now, with that IT policy in...
Hello All,
The files were deleted by Windows when chkdsk was automatically executed. Hard drive inbstalled as an external USB drive and FileRestorePlus utilized to scan for deleted documents which found them all; PDFs, Word and Excel files. Either when opening the restored Excel or...
Hello All,
I know how to create an exclusion on local computer with version Viruscan Enterprise + Antispyware Enterprisde 8.5 but it's grayed out. This means it is centrally managed - no surprise there- and will probably have to be done on the ePolicy Orchestrator Console. Does it makes sense...

Hello,
We're considering having users with one single physical Cisco phone instead of two - two different companies. In one of them, we could set up call forwarding to the other phone but we plan on turning off the physical phone itself, meaning it won't be at their desk but tuck away in some...
I was hoping there's be a setting to immediately forward the calls to the other phone. maybe in the "Call Forward and Call Pickup Settings" or perhaps a "rule" that a call comes to that extension somehow have it also forward the call to the other number, using the entire second's phone number...
It's basically two different companies so each have their own Cisco phone server/CCM. The phone system are not joined, etc. Each on a different network but network connection repositioned to one of their cisco gateways setup not long ago. If the user was only requiring one phone - ours - it...
Hello - The phone has two additional lines added for the managers person will be taking calls for. However, she also has another physical Cisco phone - total two phones; each from a different company.
On the one I have control of and where the two lines were added to the phone, can those two...
Hello -We have call manager business edition 7.1.5
At another location with a different phone server - same Cisco call manager/system- users can get their voice mail directly in their Exchange mailbox and are able to listen to it straight from the message with something called Viewmail. How can...
Hello All,
I have added speed dials for users by having them login as themselves and selecting user settings, speed dials, etc. How can that be done when login in with admin access to the CCM? I do not see see an option to add speed dials when under the Phone or User.
Thanks
