My second attempt with "combo fix" (free version: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/dl/12/) in safe mode, no networking, and Malwarebytes did the trick. Bprotector was successfully cleaned off my computer. I've been working on this forever!

Malwarebytes finds two incidences of "pup.bprotector", and cannot remove it. I'm using Win 7, Home Premium – SP1 on a Toshiba laptop.
I’ve tried many manual remove instructions from different websites, and It still shows up after reboot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
