HI,
I have around 50 5320 IP phones which I would like to re-use. I was wondering if I can use them with the asterisk / freepbx system but the phones that I have, apparently are missing the SIP firmware. Does anybody have the sip firmware file for the 5320 phones if it exists?
Regards
Mark
Hi,
Thanks for your responce. We have plenty of voicemail licences but its not enabled for the devices in question at the moment. I thought of configuring voicemail but its not an option at the moment because the users don't want to return calls. They just want it to sound an engaged tone to...
Hi,
I look after a Mitel 3300 system where I work and I'm going through a steep learning curve on how to use it.
I have a couple of system speed calls that route an external DDI through to internal extensions. Is it possible to return an engaged tone when these extensions are busy so that the...
Thanks,
I have plans to roll the system out across many sites over the next 12 months and I'm sure some of the commands I've learnt are going to come useful. I enquired yesterday with Mitel for details on courses they run.

Hi All,
I think I have fixed the problem, To be honest I looked at CCS trace but could not understand most of it. In the end with a combination of turning the Q.Sig Master setting on so that the Mitel saw the channels when plugged into the audiocodes, and changing (actually disabling)a...
Hi Daniel
I've created the new trunk as per your instructions from home. I can't actually dial a number at the moment to test until tomorrow. I went off site. Unless you can dial from a maintenance command?
I'll have a go first thing tomorrow.

Hi,
Quite sadly, I'm started to get excited.
The audiocodes is being used as a Gateway to the ISDN30 for a peice of software, its unplugged at the moment because we have staff in the office.
We use the software for loading telephone numbers of companies who have announced that the are making...
Hi Daniel,
you were right the channels were not seizable when the Audiocodes was connected.
I'm a step closer to finding the resoloution. Changing the Q.SIG Master to True allowed the Channel to connect successfully!!
Unfortunatly once connected and the channel in the idle state I was not...
Hi Daniel,
I am running software 10.2.0.26_2 release level 2.
Looking in the Hardware of the 3300 its a T1/E1 Combo Card.
You should find attached screen shots of the various forms.
Again, thanks for your help.. I'm going to go into the office early tomorrow to connect the ISDN via the...
Yeah, VPN is defiantly your way forward. your VPN Access point can either be a software based product such as your current RRAS or Hardware such as a Watchgard or Draytek Device.
Dependant on budget I'd also implement Remote Desktop Services on a Server 2008 machine, either physical or virtual...
Hi Daniel,
The Audiocodes is a device that sits between the ISDN30 and the phone system it has 2 E1 ports and also SIP capabilities, we've just used the 2 E1's.
We have a server that runs a software solution for call handling (incoming/outgoing) that staff log into. When staff log in to...
Interesting, Its a bit sly of them if they are. I've never experienced any add-ware from CNET myself.
Anyway
Drivermax can also be downloaded from the developers site which might be your better option if you want to try cloning the drivers.

Thanks for Replying Dsniel,
I will have a look and get back.
I can get onto the 3300 from home but the ISDN is connected straight into the phone system at the moment.
I think the Mitel Engineer said that the channels were unassigned when he had a quick look when the system was installed...
Hi
We have recently had a new Mitel 3300 system installed where I work. Which I must say is a great system.
Prior to the system installation we used a AudioCodes Mediant 1000 Telephony gateway that used for interfacing with some call control software.
The PRI card on the Mitel connects to...
Hi,
I'm never experienced a Mitel 3000 before but have recently implemented a Mitel MXe 3300 for the company where I work. I had a similar problem with one way voice which turned out to be the phones having defferent default gateway IP addresses.
Not sure if its relevant on your system but...
Hi,
If this is a company PC? do you have a working machine that you can clone the drivers from using a utility such as DriverMax?
