You'll have to re-install the license and Auth files and they can be downloaded from RFA.
With regard to support from Avaya....are they paying for support after 17:00/ If so, you'll get it.
Either the system is doing something else and you'll have to wait or you have corruption.
If it's corruption you'll have to raise a case with Avaya to clear it.
What do these two options in 'display sys cust' say?

Maximum TN2602 Boards with 320 VoIP Channels:

Victor,
Check your 'Dialplan Parameters'as this is where you set how the system displays numbers to the phones.
I'm not sure what you mean by inserting the 9 and the 1 on the trunk group?
If it's to allow the phone to insert the 9 etc when calling out via the call log then this is done using...
I think your teacher is confused with 'Telnet'. Telnet uses port 23 and is not secure and anything you type can be seen in a sniffer trace. Ie, password's etc.
In CM4 telnet is disabled by default and you must SSH to CM.
It's ok to use the S8300 as a TFTP server for upgrades.
MM uses the QSIG DL2 (Divert Leg Info 2)message to decide what the correct mailbox is and where it came from. Either CM is sending the wrong info or MM is not reading the DL2 message properly.
Do you have a trace of a bad call?
You must set the Speed, Duplex, Negotiation in that order.
1. Set port speed 1 100MB
2. Set port duplex 1 FULL
3. set port negotiation 1 disable
Actually, you may be able to swap 1 & 2 around but doing it this way has ALWAYS worked for me using FW36 on various Hardware versions.
Please let me...
dwalin, AsafS,
If you have a case with Avaya ask your case manager to look up:
QQ:111809 (Tier III will have to do this)or look at MR:g3v2060575.
There is no number for the G700 firmware yet as it has not yet passed Software Verification.
If you give me your case numbers I'll speak with your...
Dwalin,
Yes, it's a G700 firmware issue. Basically what happens is that the ALAW companding message sporadically fails to make it to the MM when the gateway reboots.
Are you an avaya associate?
I don't know of any Integration Docs and this question would be more suited to an NEC Technician since it will be them doing the conversion.
What the Avaya will need is a QSIG 'MWI Activate/Deactivate' message from the NEC. If you can get the NEC to convert the Incoming Analogue 'MWI' from MM...
All, there is a fix for this issue and will be GA around the 8th Jan 2007.
Until then, the preferred work around is to reseat the DCP or any effected MM (Including v0).
Hi,
We have a problem that when our G700's do a reset the DCP handsets return to a US dial tone and the only fix is to refresh the terminal parameters or 'pop' the DCP card in the gateway.
Problem is experienced on all g700 gateways.
We have checked the Location-Parameters and they look to be...
One way to prove it once and for all.......Put a sniffer between the control network port of the server and LAN and one at the remote end between the IPSI and the LAN.
That way you'll see the PCD message go in and come out.
