Tell you all, it was a very though decision, that opportunity I declined was with a very good company. But I just felt that putting my next years of my career working on a open source platform would not take me far and the knowledge wouldn't be easily transferable to another job.
I've been working on an Avaya platform for 2 years and I have the opportunity to work with a open source VOIP solution.
I'm not sure if I should stick with Avaya and increase my knowledge (on a none VOIP platform) or go to the open source VOIP solution which will give me more work experience on...

I have been in a call center environment for the last 6 years and I have to say I'm not that excited about it anymore.
This other option is definitely going to keep me busy as they plan to roll out VOIP world wide.
If anything I want to lean more toward the data network side...
I have the option to stay where I'm at and continue to work with the Avaya VOIP solution or go into a position that will enable me to work with an open source VOIP solution and do installs.
I do like the fact that with the open source solution I will learn a lot more about VOIP than an all...
BTW How do I know I have an S Series server?
I did fill out the backup fields but then I get a error. This the error:
