1) check to make sure you are not out of extension licenses. Phone will not register without an available licnese
2) extension may be locked due to too many incorrect password attempts. There is a utility on the Altigen server to check this...start>programs>MAx Communications...
I have seen servers hang like this when the Single Board Controller (SBC) is failing. At times simple as a fan on the processor other times not a simple. There is no real good test for this board like the other borads
The check box will allow for directory service, however if the users have no recorded their directory name inside their personal settings in their mailbox they will not be listed in directory service
You can do this by creating an Auto Attendant whose top level function is to call the extension you are forwarding to (make sure to uncheck the play prompt option) and then forward the extension of the person that left to that auto attendant rather than directly to the extension.
