Our PBX is setup to not display our Local Delivery number. There is an override which is a 4 digit prefix.

We have just run out of support on our Freedom Voice recording and coincidently at the same time our Freedom System Manager console wont stay open for longer than 5 seconds.
When you open the console it stays open for 5 seconds then it just closes down, we can check the status of the loggers...
2121 is the Hunt group DN and they are setup on Linear hunt. We are an in house helpdesk so we dont get too many calls out of 400 staff 55 of those are IS (we write our own system.
There are 5 numbers in the Hunt group with the main helpdesk persons DN as the initial number.

Thanks for the quick response unfortunately though we dont have the bigger helpdesk team to warrant the use of ACD. The other issue with CFW is the users remembering to turn the forward on when they have finished for the day :-(

Most of our admin staff use the M3903's and we would like them to be able to login and take calls for overflow from the contact centre. I have setup an ACD position on however when i try to login the button doesnt respond anything.

Thank you all for backing up what i have been trying to tell the call centre manager.
i can now go back with this as well as the same information from our vendor and explain that their lazy agents will have to go not ready or log out or they will have to get more bums on seats!

When our call centre gets busy our back office staff are able to login into their phones to pick up calls. however sometimes they are not always at their desks, and to ensure we maximise cover we would like to allow the pickup of ACD calls.

Thanks for your help guys, i managed to solve it, it seemed to be that actual handset itself, i am going to flash the firmware on the phone and use it as a test case to see if i can get to the bottom of the issue.
