I'm having the same issue and I think it's because the ELAN isn't routed out where the FTP server sits (by design). Guys I think what M1spezi is saying, is can you ping from ELAN. (there's no TLAN IP on a CS).

Thanks Yyrkroon. Good to know. I had a sneaking suspiction that may be the case. I will try and get in touch with the guys that orginally installed the system and find out what the password is. Seems a little silly that I have to go through all of this just to do a network backup.

linklight, I also was very frustrated with the same issue on 3904 phones. I contacted Plantronics and they have a retrofit kit that gives you a different arm with two tabs on either side of the phone to prevent the handset from sliding around. The problem is the double sided tape is still crap...
