Hi Gang
I have an IPLDK20 with ISDN2 and VMIB. Through CCR pg228 we have a mixture of options to extns or groups but one heading off to another site, basically pointing to a SPEED no. and going off-net. During the system out dialling to remote site, the caller here's the tones being dialled, is...
The other thing to check is whether the unit has a MODU (modem card) or LANU (network interface) as you'll need either of these to talk to the system. The LANU is a standard lan port you can see on the side with all other outlets, the modem is a small "piggyback card" inside on the motherboard.
From your description i woud say wiring or port. Try connecting to port 15 and pgm accordingly. Put the card in service mode & pull it out then push back in again and flick switch, the only other thing then is the amphenol wiring.
You can only get into system programming from a remote location if you have either a MODU (modem card) or LANU (LAN) card in the system. The point a DDI, or DID depending on location to extn 37, this is the default modem extn providing you have the MODU.
Where are you located?
Hi Jez,
If you are looking for someone in the UK then give me a shout. This board is fantastic and especially the user SteveBUK, believe me he knows his stuff.....
We're an authorised reseller here in the UK (South) we'd be more than happy to help or give advice as and when needed.
Hi SarahHCR
Sounds as though some deeper programming needs to be carried out as we could prog the switch to automatically dial out on the Premicell chanel when a mobile number is dialled.
In which country are you based?
Hi Members
Now i know gain settings should never be played with but i have a client who feel thier music on hold (system based) is too loud. Sounds ok to me but does anyone know of pgm code to change the volume/gain for this.
Many thanks in advance.
Found it, after lots of hair pulling i managed to find a folder under my user name-local-virtual store-program files. It would appear this file was being used rather than the new one, deleted it and hey presto, it now works.
Maybe it's a Vista thing.
I hope this post helps someone else down...
Hi Gang,
I'm going crazy here, have just downloaded 3.8 admin software, unzipped it and ran it, now showing that i have an older version installed (3.7 2007.07.12). Have deleted the LG folder in program files yet still the same. Running laptop with vista. Is there another hidden folder i need...
