VM Pro transfer to short code meet me conf

Joe, that did the trick thanks! I had hoped it was something more concrete. None of us on here have time to be monitoring conference lines to determine when VM Pro needs to be restarted. :-)

VM Pro transfer to short code meet me conf

This had been working perfectly, but no more. I had setup a DID into a VM Pro module which asks for a PIN, then after verification, transfers to a short code setup as a Conference Meet Me. DID will no longer transfer into the conference, but local short code works fine. System Status shows the...

    Lync Plugin

Does anyone have the latest Lync plugin for 9.1? PLDS is not working for me tonight.

    One-X Portal User Groups

There is a single One-X server for all locations, which are on an SCN. It looks like there is a glitch in Manager. You can create a new XMPP group that contains users from all systems. However, if you go back in and edit the group, any users from other systems are removed. I deleted all the XMPP...

    One-X Portal User Groups

I've been hitting my head against the wall with this problem for a good bit. We use the Spark IM client for messaging throughout our network. We could see presence status of all logged-in users, and chat between locations. After upgrading to 9.1, we couldn't see any logged-in users. I finally...

    External Dial Plan

If I remember correctly, we could import a mapping file in Shoretel with the regional dial plan. This made dialing more user friendly as it removed the need to know whether to dial a +1 for long distance. Users could use 10-digit dialing like they do on mobile phones without thinking about...

    VMPRO (Centos) on Hyper-V

Thanks tlpeter! I'll keep fighting until I figure it out! :-)

    VMPRO (Centos) on Hyper-V

Richard, the link you provided is for the Windows version, but he is asking about the CentOS (Linux) version, which (from what I can tell by the tech bulletins and deployment guides) is now a component of Server Edition. Basically, the Linux version of Voicemail Pro and One-X Portal runs on...

    VMPRO (Centos) on Hyper-V

I don't think it is supported on release 9.0 or higher. Works fine on 8.1 and prior, as long as the host has sufficient resources, and you allocate those resources to the virtual machine in Hyper-V. I'm still trying to find a good upgrade path for the Vmail Pro application server from 8.1 >...

    Application Server VM

Yes, tried all the defaults we know, plus existing and past passwords. Strange that I can login from the command line, but not from the web!

    Application Server VM

We were able to upgrade, and are now seeing this issue. We can login to the command line console as root and as Administrator, but when trying to log into web control, the user is set to "root" (greyed out and can't change) and the password is not accepted. I used the console to reset the root...

    96xx Screensaver

Shouldn't need to delete it. Just upload the copy and it will be overwritten. Does it give the same error when you do that?

    96xx Screensaver

You know you're getting old when you still worry about EBCDIC vs. ASCII encoding and carriage returns transferring properly in txt files.

    96xx Screensaver

I always download the settings file using the tool instead of copy/paste from the browser into a new file just to be safe. A .txt file has several possible encoding formats that may not be compatible with the phones, so editing the original file is usually best. Maybe I'm too cautious, but.... :-)

    96xx Screensaver

It is in Manager under File > Advanced > Embedded File Management. How did you upload the settings file without going to this menu?

    Application Server VM

These are upgrades from 8.1 to 9.1. I don't remember seeing those options in 8.1 web control, but will take another look in the morning. Thanks Gunnaro!

Configuring an VPN Tunnel using IPsec between Watchguard and Avaya 9600 Series IP Phone and IPO

What is the model and firmware version of the Watchguard router? Are you doing site-to-site VPN tunnels between Watchguard routers at both ends? This easily and flawlessly supports SCN trunking between IP Office control units and direct media path between phones at different sites, assuming...

    96xx Screensaver

You should probably use the embedded file management tool to download the settings file, and edit it directly (after making a backup of course). Then you can upload it back. Close the file tool and Manager, and reboot a phone to test. I had the same problem when I first tried this. Also, I found...

    Application Server VM

Does anyone have any "unsupported" solutions to upgrading existing AppServer installations that are in a Hyper-V VM? Trying to boot from the DVD/iso just results in a near-immediate kernel panic.

avaya ip office with netgear routers

I've always found it easier to leave VLANs alone unless you have separate CAT5e drops for voice and data, or it is a large install. Up to 50 users or less, there shouldn't be any congestion anyway on a modern 100/1000 network. Like Guy said, you can forget VLANs and just setup Avaya to provide...
