Have a customer on V10 using a lot of softphones ( Avaya communicator) they are now reporting any calls to or from softphones have a 5 second delay before speech connects, other IP phones SIP trunks are all ok. Anyone any ideas?

Got an IP500 running V10 with SIP trunks and 1608 handsets, when a call comes in there is no call control, hold/Park, transfer etc and the call drops after 30 seconds. If user calls out its fine, ive tried every combination of stun/no stun and every available parameter but still cant get it...
Got several IP 500 using Talk Talk SIP trunks, suddenly all sites over V10 stopped working, couldnt dial out or in. I removed STUN server and they could dial out but then couldnt transfer/Park etc. Is there anything different about V10 upwards? do I need STUN server if so whats recommended?
