Just from Microsoft XP. Searching within the program itself. Once I get the search telling me where it is I just need to be able to export to a csv, excel, etc... Thanks!

Export Advanced Search data to Excel.

Hi. Thanks for reading. I am trying to export search data into an Excel spreadsheet. In particular, when you do a search it gives you name, location, date modified etc... for a certain file. I want to be able to extract my search data to an excel spreadsheet. I found a program that does...

Excel Toolbar will not keep changes

Thanks for the post. I am talking about the xlb (toolbar) file. No matter if I create a new Excel file, change my toolbar, save, exit OR if I just open Excel, change toolbar, save Book1, exit OR if I just open Excel change toolbar and exit. The outcome is always the same. The xlb (toolbar)...

Excel Toolbar will not keep changes

My excel toolbar will not keep changes made to it once Excel is closed. As soon as it is reopened, it reverts back to the standard toolbar. I have tried deleting, recreating and changing the .xlb file and have ensured I have given it time to write the changes after closing Excel and then...

    IP Subnet/Octet Standards!

Hi, I am trying to find print on standards within the fourth octet of the IP address. I have read in the past where there are standards like X.X.X.0-5 are routers, X.X.X.6-15 are Switches, X.X.X.16-50 are servers. etc... Any assistance in the right direction appreciated.

    Sec+ or Exchange for mcsa2k3?

Security is always a good option since it is something everyone is concerned with. However, I felt I received a lot of the security information with my studies and training so I opted for the Messaging specialization, to kind of stand out. Plus for me personally I would rather be an Exchange...

    Multi-reply in GW

Hi, thanks for reading. Is there a way in GW 6.5 to select multiple emails and reply once to all emails. Third party tools would work also, thanks for any ideas.

    Groupwise to replace exchange 5.5

One final point I forgot to mention...if you are running a Novel Domain, run Groupwise...If you are running a Windows domain, run Exchange. The email clients run smoother in their own native environments.

    IBM Bladecenter

Hi, I am curious if anyone here is running an IBM Bladecenter? We have ordered one and it is taking forever for it to get here (delayed at least twice). Experiences with running one? Reason you went with one over Dell? Support issues, configuaration issues, thoughts? Thanks!

    Groupwise to replace exchange 5.5

I have ran both GW and Exchange, and as you see from the group here Stability is the number one reason to go with GW. The other side for Exchange is the functionality and administration. From an administrator stand point, I love the fact that I can just ignore GW (to more extent) than...

    ISCSI to SCSI Bridge!

Hi, thanks for reading. I am interested in input about ISCSI to SCSI bridging vs. actual SAN implementation. Is anyone using bridging? If so in what area do you use it? What benefits have you gained/lost from it? I see the selling point of turning your DAS into a NAS via ISCSI bridging, but...

    Single Sign on not working

Has anyone had an issue with Single Sign on not working with GW 6.5. We have it working with a couple systems that have been upgraded from 6.0, but any new ones we try to do a single sign on with will not work. You log in to the Novell client and it still prompts you to log in again for GW. We...

    2003 290 exam

My track was 270-290-291-284-293-294-297 which worked out very well for me. The 270 through 293 all kind of build on each other and the 294 and 297 both cover AD. 284 was for my MCSA with specialization. In my experience 291 was the hardest and 293 was the easiest. Still need to take 285 for...
