Thanks for the responses guys. What I'll likely do is just swap the extension numbers using "change dn's" and then tell the receptionist she can only transfer to the extension itself, and not the mailbox. Thanks again.
How would I go about changing them individually? Do you mean through the setting in System Programming > Change DN? Because I'm pretty sure you can only swap current extension numbers in there..
I have a customer who needs to change their DN's from the default range (starting at 221) to another range (like 321). There are no DID's programmed on the system, so that is not an issue. I know that doing a **startup will allow me to change the start DN, but I'm looking to accomplish this...
Unfortunately changing the IP address of the system does not solve the issue. According to Samsung, any IP address entered into DM IP white list, locks out ANY other IP addresses. I ended up having to call tech support to have them clear it. Annoying process. Lesson learned though.
I am running a 64 bit version, and I can't even run the setup file. I keep getting an error "this app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher" I used the link provided by atdjr123 on these forums. http://pbxbook.com/norstar/radtools.html I do have a...
I'm trying to set up a FastRad connection for one of my customers, but the only version of NRU I've found is version 11.0, which will not run on Windows 10. Is there any other version that will? Cheers.
I accidentally entered the wrong IP address into 5.13.9 in one of my customers systems, and now I'm locked out of the device manager! Is there an MMC that corresponds with DM 5.13.9 where I can remove the IP address? Officeserv 7100 with 4.91 software. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I have a customer who is having an issue with employees constantly going on DND. Is there anywhere in system programming that allows you to either change the feature code, or remove the feature entirely? Thanks.
I have tried debugging the system, but the password comes out as default (266344), but like I said, it still only gives admin options. Very strange. I'm thinking of just doing a **startup and reprogram. I will try the trick with FastRAD first, though. Thanks for tips.
Thanks for the quick reply guys. I will get my hands on a FastRAD asap. However, I am still confused. How is the default **config login only giving me basic admin access? Is it somehow possible to change what settings a login authorizes? or create a new one?
I am having major issues accessing programming mode on a CICS with 6.0 software. This is a new customer, who apparently had a previous interconnect. The default "config" password was obviously changed. So, I went to debug the system. I tried logging in under username "**admin" but I did not get...
According to samsung "technical support", the only difference between the two (other than that the MP10 has been discontinued), is that the MP10a is slightly faster, but they are equal as far as operation goes. If you're planning on moving the system image between cards, make sure you back...
