    Outbound Caller ID

We have 2 trunks, one is trunk type CBC the other Public Network. Both ISDN. When sending calls out on the CBC trunk, the Public Unknown Numbering table works fine. When sending a call out on the Public Network trunk, it does not. Is the issue the trunk type, or am I overlooking something...

    New Ip for g350/8300

I jumped the gun. I assumed it was something I did since this was the first time I had done the IP changes but it wound up being our Network group missing some settings on the switch port the 350 was plugged into. As soon as they resolved that it came right up. Thanks!

    New Ip for g350/8300

Well I was able to re-program the IPs on the 350/8300 but it won't register to the CLAN. I changed LSP and Node-names on the 8500 side, I also changed the ip-network-map so that the phones would register in their proper region. Is there anything else I need to change on that side? Phones are...

    New Ip for g350/8300

Good idea, I do have a dialup modem on that for our Maint. Vendor, so I'll give that a try first. If I have issues then I'll just use the info you gave me for when I'm on site the next day. Thanks much!

    New Ip for g350/8300

Mitch, thanks for response. My plan was to log in after hours the night before they move, put in the new IPs and then next day move it to it's new home. No one is on site after 5 pm so if it isn't working until it gets moved the next day there is no impact to the organization. Do you think using...

    New Ip for g350/8300

I have a branch site moving in a few weeks and will need to put a new IP on their g350/8300. I've found some info on here on how to do that via Telnet but just want to make sure I am doing this correctly via the Web menu. I am to run through the Maintenance Web Interface, Server Config, Config...

    CDR Duration

    Aha! Thanks much 84Mike!

    CDR Duration

I'm using the Duration field in my CDR output. As I understand it I am to read the 4 digits as HOUR, MINUTE, MINUTE, SECONDS (TENTH). So a Duration of 0112 would equate to an 11 minute and 20 second call. Correct? If so, then why do I have call durations of 0007, 0008, 0009? Shouldn't those...

    ISDN PRI Extend

Awesome, thanks to both of you! Saved me from having to reschedule :)

    ISDN PRI Extend

Normally Verizon extends are T1s/ISDNs for us from our demarc into our server room. I just noticed that they did not this time and I have the cut scheduled for Monday. I poked around on the internet but cannot find anything that points me to how this is wired. I want to try and do this myself so...

    Upgrading to VOIP

Jim, Thanks for the response. Feature wise, we don't need a whole lot and to be honest I'm actually thinking of just going without any sort of equipment out there. While our branches are convenient for our customers they aren't terribly critical in terms of our organization continuing to run...

    Upgrading to VOIP

We have a mixture of VOIP Gateways and the older Prologix equipment in our branches. We are currently looking at MPLS and having everything on VOIP would make life much easier. I know there are some devices out there that will convert digital to IP, can anyone recommend some? To outfit the...

    New ISDN PRI

Thank you for all the info CBB! Much appreciated.

    New ISDN PRI

We are in the process of moving our current LD T1s to ISDN PRI to gain Caller ID. Since this isn't a real critical move I've decided to take on the task of doing this myself :) Currently the two T1s run off of 464H boards. We also have 2 464G boards which our ISDN PRI DID lines run on. Will the...

    Audix Record to different voicemail

Hey All, Our Contact Center wants to start utilizing Audix Record so they can capture Wire Transfers Requests (Financial institution). At first I thought this was no big deal as they don't use their voicemails at all, calls not answered directly or to the hunt just cover back into the hunt. So...

    Latency on Cajun P130

Firmware is up to date, Cisco switch is showing a lot of runts coming from Cajun. I'm going to try another cable.

    Latency on Cajun P130

Tracert looks correct. I ping'd from my desk and it hits gateway, switch, cajun. Gateway and cajun both respond in less than 1 ms, then Cajun genererates 15 to 16 ms.

    Latency on Cajun P130

I put a Cajun P130 on my network but haven't plugged my 8500 or IPSI into yet due to high ping times from Cajun. I have the ports on Cajun locked to 100 FULL as well as the ports on the Cisco switch. I almost always return pings of 15 MS or higher, occasionally dipping into 2-3 ms. Is there...

    Audix DST change

Gotcha, thanks Mojo! As to your question, I've only ever done one time change on the Audix and that was when we first got it. It did make me reboot to take effect. This is why I was hoping to do this all in one shot and only have to reboot once.

    Audix DST change

Mojo, I am planning on shutting off DST and changing the time Sunday morning. Will it force me to reboot after I turn DST off, or will I be able to do this all in one step?
