Nrs on cs1000 is configured and operational
It works if I redirect the target line to a dn on the cs1000 but it does not work if I redirect the target line to a hunt group pilot dn on the cs1000. When I say it does not work , what happens is if I the number isi dialled the...
I can get the calls to come into the BCM and to then forward to a DN on the CS1000. I see the call in the BCM monitor. But if I modify the target line to forward to a hunt group on the CS1000 and then make a call, I see the call coming into the BCM monitor and then just disappears.
Is it possible to have all inbound calls forwarded to a hunt group hosted on a CS1000. The BCM and the CS have h323 trunks set up between them. If this can be done, could someone be so kind as to give me a couple of pointers.
Thank a mill.

technically it could be achievable at big cost whch we do not want to incur. We also have a policy in our company that the phone is there to be answered and voicemail offers our people a call vetting service so only 4 or 5 people actually have voicemail.
275 ip (1220) extensions running on a cs1000 v5.5. I have been looking at secondary call forward. In my mind I imagined it would be as simple as forwarding to a service directory number with an application applied and that same SDN having the SFA enabled. But alas, this is IT and I should be...
Hi guys. Management want to make all our users forward their calls to night service / holiday message at the end of the day to allievate the whole calls ringing and not being answered malarchy.
We have set up a test OOH (out of hours) app on our callpilot and give it a SDN 0f 7012.
Created...
To GHTrout - So Time of day redirection can work for pilot DN. I am not worthy.
To: trvlr1 - To get this straight, call comes into switch and gets forwarded straight to callpilot which does a time of day decision on the call. If it's out of hours / week the call gets sent to the same night...
We have a night service / holiday message which is played when our main console is put into night service. This is great for when callers call the main switch number but we have departmental hunt groups that would also like to avail of the service. Is there such a thing as a night service for...
A potential provider has told me that our BCM400 PBXs are not supported by Nortel/Avaya any longer. They are telling me that if I were to seek extra IP licenses or generally extend my system that Nortel/Avaya will not provide whatever I needed meaning I could not grow a BCM400 based system...
We are planning to embark on a voip project to link about 12 sites together using Nortel PBXs and some Avaya IP office. I understand, as far as BCM50s are concerned we should be OK by converting them to SRG50 but can I do the same with BCM400s and can i do anything with the IP office 406s? I...
I have downloaded the new SIP firmware for the nortel 12xx ip phone. I don't want upgrade the phone thru the normal attaching to the phone system/element manager method. How can i upgrade it using TFTP or whatever in a standalone scenario.
I have a task to try and get various PBXs in our organisaiton talking to one another. I have CS1000 and BCMs around and a few IP Offices as well. I was going to start using NRS on the SS to manage the call routings to begin with, I was also thinking of giving each site a 3 digit prefix so for...
In my situation i only have 1 CS1000 but lots of Avaya IP office and BCMs. In my company we have 11 CS1000s but i don't think any of these is quite ready to join my grand plan as yet (more to do with politics and power struggles). It's a real shame actually because i have so much spare...
I want to investigate a backup NRS before I get to in deep with my new voip project. Can i run a backup NRS service at a different site and as a virtual machine say in a data centre so in the even of the primary NRS on my CS1000 failing at least my other sites will still be able to query for...
