This is fixed in the latest release as kwbMitel suggests, but there is also some configuration that needs completing too!
iOS apps are not blocked from internet access when they are in the background or the phone is locked, in order to save on battery and data. The way they work now is the...
I've had this setup and working with both hotdesk ACD as well as softphone ACD and works fine. Its in the account settings that you need to enable this. You can either do this on a per user basis or as part of the Default Account settings for the site.
Actually its something I have told you I think....got a feeling if you are using the SIP Softphone (UC Endpoint) the conference will not work. You need to use the Minet softphone (5020 IP) and then you should get this functionality - sorry for the wrong info initially.
What software version are you running on your 3300?
THe way to do this is to add a Multicall line on the softphone device (usually UC Endpoint). Although you may have to try with Key System. Again this should be set to ring and should match the ext of the softphone device.
This will work but the softphone device need a 2nd line. Once you have programmed that you will need to clear the line monitor cashe for that user (or if you are programming alot you can do it for the whole PBX). Once this is done restart the client and you should get extra buttons on the...
Has anyone managed to integrate lync/skype with micollab? My understanding you can do this by setting up a federation but I have never done this before.
I do not want the micollab add-on for lync/skype I want to have MiCollab Client users and lync/Skype users able to see presence between...
Are you installing on Hyper-V or VMWare?
If it Hyper-V then you will need the .iso files used for ISS install, its its VMWare then you will need the .ova files.
1. Is there routing between those two subnets?
2. Have you programmed *** as the set registration code
3. Is the ext 2200 setup as the same device type as the one you are using?
I have to assume that point 1 is done as you seem to be getting to the point of entering the PIN. Worth checking...
Billz is correct you need to ensure that the Domain names are setup correct as MiCollab Client ONLY works via Domain names and not IP's. Also from the server you can send the users out welcome emails and this contains all their login credentials, Web Addresses and Software download links.
I imagine you have downloaded the rel 7 app on the later devices and the older app on the old ones. The new App's require an authentication code to be send from the MiCollab server, this is done through the MiCollab Client Deployment Blade. You might need to upgrade MiVBE if you cannot see that...
So I'm thinking this is a payload issue....You didn't let me know if you had SIP earlier, if you do I think this would confirm the issue.
Polycoms view on this is...
"If you are unable to send DTMF Signals to a IVR or Voice Mail System you may need to change the method or the payload type...
But can you dial into voicemail anyway and test to see if key presses are recognized. You don;t need to have a mailbox just log into your own personal one or just navigate the menus.....anything just to see if DTMF is recognized.
Its not even mentioned they have MiCollab? If its just a normal outbound call then this wouldn't have anything to do with the MiCollab......unless you are suggesting they have MiVoice Business Express (the new names for vUCC or MiCollab with Voice).
I'm not sure why you are suggesting this is a MiCollab issue?
Do you have any issue with RTP for these SIP devices i.e. any 1-way voice issues reported?
Are the polycoms sitting on your Voice vLAN or are they setup on your data?
Do you have a way of testing this internally, so to eliminate a...
