Thanks, Phoneguy, looks like that will be the fix. I dialed into another Norstar and changed that field back and forth, and saw the same behavior- that with 'DN Available' set to N, that when you choose that name from the Company Directory, that it would only go to that person's mailbox...
I installed a used Norstar 0x32 (rls 6.1) system with Call Pilot (rls 3.0) for a customer recently, and only had to do slight reprogramming to customize it for them. I set up 4 mailboxes, and had the customer initialize each of them, and record their names for the Company Directory.
However...
First of all, if you're seeing the prompt ALC_DNLD> you're connected to the wrong device; that's not the NBX V3000, that's the Analog Line Card's prompt.
The V3000 unit itself (3C10600), at the Com1 port, should show a prompt of V3000>
Perhaps at the auction, you purchased not only the NBX...
The PMS link seems to be up, and they haven't complained about not being able to log guests in or out.
I looked up SYST BLKD in the BKG NTP (EIEIO!) and the description says, in essence, 'failed due to blocking in the system'...which tells me nothing! Especially on a 'non-blocking' Opt61C!
I...
Hey, can I drum up this thread again? The Interalia has been working fine now for a couple months...now the report is that the AWU's are not working.
I went on site, and found much the same- I can still use the Mtce phone and LD 36, access the trunks of the RAN, and hear the message; however...
Thanks for the tips, KE407122
I remember installing an XMU for a large bank customer- that's a sweet product!
My test phone was originally TGAR 0, but along the way in testing, I had changed it...I'll change it back next time I'm onsite.
Good to know there's 'someone' else in the world that's...
**RESOLVED** (I think)
Couple of things- I wired the RANF (Rt 14) trunk to the same connections as the associated Interalia RAN trunks, and now when I test a Wakeup call, it plays the 'wakeup' MSG (which, technically, plays the whole time, as it's in Continuous play mode, and wired to the...
Thanks Stanley,
I did not know that about the RANF, what its true purpose was...as I say, it's currently wired to nothing, so even though my Wakeup message is only 7 seconds long, it may have hit it during the middle of the message, and is routing me to the RANF (which in my case is silence)...
Well, I thought I knew as much as the others on this forum about Interalia MMU-2 recorders (and have found some good tips as well), but I need help on this one...using it with an Option 61 as an AWU on port 1, and RAN on ports 2 and 3.
I installed this unit to replace an aged Cook Digital...
First, remind the other users that the system is operating correctly and they're only receiving calls BECAUSE the operator is already on a call.
Second, you CAN configure it differently so that the 'Operator' Hunt Group rolls over to a second 'Rollover' Hunt Group, and put the Operator's...
Been working on 3Com NBX systems for ~12 years, but this one threw me for a loop:
Got a customer with an Analog Terminal Card (actually 3 of them, but only 1 is acting up...) that initially presented with 'calls not going through properly'...getting error message from Telco.
Environment: V3000...
Sounds like Handsfree (not to be confused with Speakerphone) is enabled on the phone. On the 3102 phone, it's a hard button that can be pressed on/off, but on the 3101 phone, it's not a button. This feature allows Internal callers (by default..also able to be allowed to external callers...
Not sure about the paging issue, but with A series phones, you can only use the white Program button within ~30 seconds of the phone booting up. After that, it becomes a 'dead' button.
With the B series phones they have kept the Program button 'live' always (much to my chagrin for the...
