SL2100 - Ring tone changes after

I’ve done this on an SL2100, but making the change on an SL1100, the ring cycle is correct, but the tone is difference. It rings the normal incoming ring tone until the queue message, then the ringing of the phones changed. Same ring cycle timing, but different tone? The incoming trunk...

SL2100 - Ring tone changes after

Hi. A very simple system. One analogue trunk set to VRS. VRS message answers call and caller can press 1 after an introductory message if they wish to speak with someone. Pressing 1 targets a virtual loopback extension number, which rings a DDI pointing to a trunk group. The phones in the...

    SL2100 SIP

I have got this working now. I upgraded to the latest firmware software from V2 to V3 and re ran the initial config. It worked immediately.

    SL2100 SIP

Good Evening. I have worked with several SL1100 systems with sip trunks and can set them up quite swiftly when needed. I have just taken on a new SL2100 which will have sip trunks at some point in the future so I thought I would play with them now. I have the CPU with built in VOIP and...

Virtual Loop Backs - SL1100 - Extension Capacity.

Hi. Thanks. I made a silly error. The extensions themselves didn’t have extension numbers. The extensions now appear in WebPro, and I can try to see if it works as expected later.

Virtual Loop Backs - SL1100 - Extension Capacity.

I’ve answered my own question. The additional slot 1 and slot 2 cards are 8 extension max, with daughter trunk cards. So 28 max extension stations on chassis 1. I’m assuming you can’t “disable” station ports to free up physical capacity?

Virtual Loop Backs - SL1100 - Extension Capacity.

Hi. I have setup virtual loopbacks on the SL1100 in the past to help with auto-attendant routing to extension ring groups. As I understand it, there must be the required number of both trunks and extensions free to allow the feature to function and route the calls. The last time I did this...

    SL1100 Night Service

Hi. Thanks. I get the purpose of the 1st and 2nd addresses now. Thanks. Looking at the incoming line types, what is DID vs DID Mode Switching? Thanks belevedere for your detailed list - I think that is already what I have working? I just can't get my head around modes 1-8 in different...

    SL1100 Night Service

No, but I did post in another forum to spread my wings, lol. I really do appreciate your help. What is the "2nd area starting/ending address used for?" I have only used the 1st area previously. If you set the the 1st areas all the same, they will always stay constant, but assign the 2nd...

    PLDS

With IP Office 500 v2 PLDS, are they tied to the CCU? For example, if a company is bought out and they retain the equipment on site, it is theirs, including the licences? The original owner can't "pull" the licences away from the CCU? I'm not familiar with the way the PLDS work. I am more...

    SL1100 Night Service

Yes, this is my understanding, but it only affects line groups? I only have one line group, but 3 DDIs used as 3 x main numbers to 3 x incoming groups. I can't see how to use different translation table areas for different night service groups, just night modes? The only way I can see to do...

    SL1100 Night Service

Thanks. I have a couple groups setup in 22-10 and 20-13 referencing the 22-11, and use mode 1 and 2. This affects all DDI groups though. I only use one group in 12-08 to select between 1-2. I wasn’t sure if I could have a button toggle 1-2 on one phone and on another phone a button to toggle...

    SL1100 Night Service

Hi. I am looking at the night service to alter DDIs out of hours. At the moment, night service mode 2 points DDIs to an auto-attendant message and mailboxes. During the day, the DDIs point to ring groups. The night service is set via timer and and also a button on one phone which is...

    IP Office 500 V2 R9 - Redundant Standby

Thanks for this. The main system is R9, but I am pretty sure the other CCU on site is R6. Would putting the SD card into the R6 upgrade it to R9 happily? I guess I should backup the SD card first. Thanks.

SL1100 - Choose outgoing CLI on the fly

That’s right, 21-19 is definitely overriding 21-17. I checked this by swapping a presented number. I am using the 4 spare onboard POTS trunks connected to the 4 spare POTS extensions, and this is working perfectly for their needs. I feel it’s a little hacky, but it is working perfectly. I’m...

SL1100 - Choose outgoing CLI on the fly

Hi. 21-17 isn’t overriding 21-19 when you access a line directly with #9 code.

SL1100 - Choose outgoing CLI on the fly

Hi. Thats what I tried to achieve before I used the POTS trunks to bridge to the POTS extensions (which works well!) It's using SIP trunks, lines 5, 6, 7, 8. 21-19 extensions have their own DDI's set for outgoing. Some their own, some shared. These are what are sent as default. 21-17 trunks...

SL1100 - Choose outgoing CLI on the fly

Hi. Thanks. This works great on system phones, but there are no feature codes to allow access to virtual extensions are there? For use on standard phones or cordless etc?

SL1100 - Choose outgoing CLI on the fly

Hi. I have a few phones and a few DDI numbers. Each phone sends it's own CLI, which we have done through choice. Occasionally there is a need to make a call from a phone, but present the main business phone number, not the extensions DDI CLI. I have achieved this by connecting a spare POTS...
