Font Sizing Arrows Grayed Out on Palettes
This morning, Software Update had a system update for me. After installing this update and restarting my machine, the problem seems to be fixed within InDesign. I have no idea why this fixed it.- tamashii

Firstly, thank you, Ekwoman, for responding so quickly to my question/issue. Unfortunately, none of the solutions provided have seemed to work. I, too, am experiencing this issue with the selection arrows being grayed out. This occurs on both the Control Palette and the Character Palette.
