I want to just display my name when i call another Cisco phone on our system, i do not want my extension to display.
I only have my name listed on "display (caller ID) and ASCII Display and even tried to remove my name compleatly from the line altogether but it still displays the line extension...

The reason we do not change it is that we use the * (star)plus the extension feature for dialing directly into a mail box and if you change the forwarding parameter i know it will effect this feature.

I am tring to understand how this works, we have several "outreach" clinics and they are not giving the PSAP the correct call back number.
Here is my understanding of the flow.
A 911 call is made, UCM routes that call to the CER/e911 system...
you should go to the 6921 phone first and click on the "line/dn" deasociate it from that phone then go back to the phone,6921, and deleat it.
you can copy another 7945 phone and use your new MAC address, then click on the line/dn, when you add the extension all the information should come up...

Log into Unity Connections, go to
system settings/advanced/conversations

If your company has an 800 number that is not asscioated to the Queue, they can call that numnber then be transfered.
I believe there is a way to route those calls by trunk or "area/country code" and "prioritize" them higher for the queue, sorry i am not that knowable about "routing".

You will need to verify the digits your vendor is receiving from you and have them assiociate a name to each ext.
