    if it is the same version of software all you need to do is set the ip address to the one on the old terminal and make sure the workgroup name is the same. it should just sync up.

    We have switched to selling the p1220 from the posiflex. I have had very good reviews from my customers.the posiflex seem to have a very high backlit failure rate. only time will tell about the 1220,but with the replace vs repair service model I think you win.
