Hi Jim532, In order for the USB drive to do autorun it must be marked as a removeable media device and it must contain an autorun.inf file and of course the startup application too. Check out this page for an excellent explanation on how to get it to work...- starfireone

Connecting IDE CD/DVD Combo with 2 Sata Devices
