Thank you for the valuable information Fletch. I turned on misdial prevention, as the majority of the 911 calls turned out to be misdials. Hopefully that and your information is enough for us to monitor the situation. Next step will be OAN = NO, but hopefully we won't need to go there. Thank...
My customer has a 3rd party SMDR program that monitor's 911 calls. When a 911 call is made it triggers a page to their staff. This has been working fine. In the past 6 months however, every now and then a 911 call is made, it's output on the monitor as an OSN call, but the pagers aren't...
Interesting....but....then doesn't this entry apply on a per station basis? Maybe I'm not being clear on what I need, if I'm ext 1234 and I dial a # that uses trunks in Seattle I want to show 206-xxx-xxxx (a specific Seattle #), but if I'm ext 1234 (same phone) and I dial a # that uses trunks...
I don't think this is possible--but you folks are pretty creative so I figured I'd double check.
I have a CS1000E Geo redundancy 5.5 PBX. 4 SMG sites. Each site has their own PRI that is used only when calls are routed (using NARS/BARS) to the city the SMG is in. The CLID is displayed...
Thank you, I really didn't think it was in the CLID table. But this is my first where the main CLID # differs from the 911 number. We'll be testing tomorrow night! Thanks for the direction. If I'm reading correctly I'm going to try this:
ENTRY 0
HNTN 809
ESA_HLCL...
Something missing! I'm having an issue sending any ANI to the 911 operators. Here's what I have
CS1000 6.0 w/geo redundancy.
Site A has a PRI
the central office controls their CLID and it sends the billing number to 911, the PBX has no control over that. It works fine in all scenarios. The...
I find this post very timely,I'm doing pretty much the same thing--but with branches converted to SMGs.
If I have not configured ERLs yet, for 300+ sets, and it says ERL 0,then I'm assuming those sets follow the regular spn programming for 911--would that be true?
Is ld 24 required? My...
I must be tired. I am trying to program about 40 ACD queues. Each one should have HOML yes and the name of the key needs to display on Key 0. These 40 queues are working in their existing 81C that we're replacing with a 1000E 5.5 I can't figure out why I can't get the prompts "HOML" or "label...
This pesky MOH/CS100E and MOH is out to get me. I have dead air when I try to use he Miran music from port 0. Originally we didn't have MOH ISMs...but now we do. And still--no MOH using the Miran. I'm especially trying to get the music on delay on an ACD queue to play...
Hee's the info...
Normally if there's an ISM issue I can't put in the TN. So I built the MUS route, then the Music TN (using the UTC) and it all went in via programming. But I can't get it to work--and am not sure @ this point if I should stop trouble shooting hardware and wait for ISMs. Hate to wait for...
Yeah, I thought it might be that but was hoping the licenses only applied to Miran music.
I wonder why I could program the MOH trunk though if there was no license? With the RAN licenses you can't program the trunk if you require the ISMs and they aren't there.
Thanks all.
Thank you very much for the quick responses...this 1000E has been a beast. Here's my release info in case anyone can help.

Actually the on site put a toner on the music port (we don't have the actual CD player yet. We're now wondering if we have to wait for the actual music or if using the toner's a good enough test.
We have installed a new cs1000E. I've configured a MOH port using the UTC. (not the Miran) I don't hear music on internal or external calls--this is for all phone types, IP and TDM phones The RDB has my music route, LD 21 has my music route.
If there's no Miran do I still need Music ISMs? I...
