So the handset is on a SIP trunk which isn't in the office yes or no?...
If you are using the MBG on the nupoint server are you using 2 nic or 1...
to use a MBG properly you have to have a internal IP and external IP but then bonded together otherwise you will get 1 way audio issues...
Let...
Well I have turned off the automatic reboot should a critical system problem come up so im hoiping if it is a ISDN issue the system will just sit there so I can see fault to then diagnoise!... :)
Cheers Wireman50... i'll bear this in mind... only problem is that im not sure the customer has a spare T1/E1 card... but it might a good beat with error logs showing 73% loss in ISDN trunks around the time of the reboot?
Did you test the system externally ie with his mobile or from a internal extension... also how was he ringing his own number?... DDI from his home phone/mobile?
One way audio issues shouldn't be connected to this unless you are using the teleworker blade on the MAS... and if this is case then...
Well our next step is going to be a system upgrade as there is a newer version out than ours... so i'll be doing that very shortly and well see if the problem is resolved!
Edit:... Im going out but i think you need to change your system totally as the cisco 3750 allows you to mange to vlans on the same port... this is how i have mine configured... this enables you to plug either a phone or PC into any port of the switch!
How come you do not have option 125?... but for phones to work you should only need options 125, 128, 129, 130, 132, 134
Jim... he doesn't have 2 matching subnets? 1 = 255.255.255.0 other is 255.255.254.0
But in saying that I have always configured the VLANs with the same subnet... i.e.
Vlan...
Failing that (i presume you mean 3300) if you can't log into the system from the web interface then hook up a com lead to the maintenance port and you can reset the password that way...
Please note this is not a ext password but a system password which as JimHilton put will allow you to change...
Must admit i have never seen it before... but the system has generated 500 pages of logs... as it was a faulty extension causing a very odd error...
I have read on some other posts that there 3300 rebooted at stupid times because the system logs were full and that the system would reboot when...
Hi all,
I need to remove all the maintenance logs as the log has built up to a stupid size and its now causing the 3300 to reboot...
Can anyone please let me know the command to do so or do i need to create a FTP connection to the box to clear them?
Any help would be appriecated.
My vpn is up and running as per normal but what I can't do is from site A get to site B's LAN port and vica versa?
10.0.0.1 (SITE A LAN) network 10.0.0.0/24 (Cisco ASA 5510)

Um... so if i configure it as a hotline but then also program it so that it can only dial inside extensions it might do what i want it to...
Cheers for the help! :)
Hello,
I have been asked if you can make 1 phone i.e. reception room phone dial 0 if any number key is pressed... this is something i have never been asked before but was wondering if it can be done...
I realise that you could use digit modification but if i do this on numbers 5 or 9 this will...
Sorry for the dumbness but i have only used cisco switches... and with those you configure them all as a vlan 1 (data) then you configure a vlan for voice say 6?... and you use that on all ports... so the all devices boot on vlan1 but then within your DHCP scope for vlan the option 125 will tell...
