Setting up a Cisco 8831 System version: 9.1.2.11900-12

    Block my internal Caller ID

Ok so I got it to work but only when I have the whole pattern. For example, when I have 8xxx in for my translation it doesn't work, but if I have 8530 as my translation pattern it does.

Humming on overhead paging, Cisco Callmanager

We found our issue. There was a pair of wires going to a amp that were touching causing the hum, once maintenance ran a new pair the humming stopped.

That is what we are thinking because I have unplugged the TAMB unit and the humming is still albeit a little softer.

Humming on overhead paging, Cisco Callmanager

Unplugging the FXO port does not make the humming go away. We have the FXO port plugged into a TAMB2 unit and then from there it goes to our punch down blocks and wired up from there.

Humming on overhead paging, Cisco Callmanager

We are experiencing a constant humming sound coming from the over head paging speakers. We are using FXO ports on our Cisco Callmanager 9.x and paging does work when the paging number is dialed. Why would we hear a constant hum

    Block my internal Caller ID

Wouldn't I mask it through a translation pattern? If I could mask it I should be able to restrict it.

Trying to use Jabber Windows Client

Thank you for the response. I did find those options under the "more" button. The client works pretty slick, and the video portions seems ok on our network. This forum is awesome, btw!

I am trying to setup Jabber Windows Client 10.6. We do not have Presence, but it looks like I can use our 9.x call manager with the Jabber to get it working. I am at the point where I am trying to log into the Jabber and it is looking for a username@domain.com. Do I need to use LDAP...

Forward calls based on internal and external

I was able to configure the mobility but that isn't going to work for this application. I need to have internal calls go to an different external number and I need to have external calls go to my phone.
