I have been trying to set up mailboxes. and all of a sudden calls are going to peoples mailboxes after 1 ring. I dont work on nortel and am stuck they ring until answered during the day and the night mode seems to be working fine.

nope. after testing the mb exits after the greeting. It does not let me leave a message. and I still dont know how long the record time is or how to change it.
I need to create a phantom mailbox on a compact ics 7.0 with a smdr6 voice mail. It needs to have a record time of at least 5 minutes. They will be leaving long messages in this mailbox.
thanks I got it to work by changing do not disturb on busy to Y. calls seemed to transfer fine when I got on site unless the extension was on the phone. so I made the change and it seems to be working fine. Thanks.
I have a compact ics 7.0 with a smdr6 voicemail. calls are ringing back to the transfering extention instead of going to the vm box of the extension that the call was transfered to. How do I get the call to go to voice mail after 4 rings?
nope. I am a toshiba installer and do not have experience with legend systems. I got thrown into this one. I am able to call the pri number that i assigned to the port and have my test set ring. I can answer it and talk just fine. I can intercom the three digit extension just fine as well...

I HAVE A PRI AND 4 ANALOG LINES IN THE BACK OF MY 406. I WANT THE ANALOG LINES TO ACT AS A BACK UP WHEN THE PRI FAILS. I HAVE HEARD I NEED TO CHANGE THE OUTGOING GROUP ID AND CREATE A LEAST COST ROUTE. THIS IS WHAT'S CONFUSING ME. CAN SOMEONE WALK ME THROUGH THE STEPS AND OR SHORTCODES.
