    3rd Party VM on a 3300 7.0

I installed a 3300 (MiVoice 7.0 SP1 PR1) in a hotel a while back. Their 3rd party vendor had to send a new VM server (along with Call Accounting) that would interface with the new 3300. They provided instructions to setup 4 Generic SIP devices to use as VM ports (3 in a hunt group for VM, and...

    Mitel 3000

We have several Mitel 3000 phone systems that are experiencing the same problems. The biggest issue is the phones (Mitel 4120 and 4110's) are constantly either freezing up, or the displays will become garbled, then lock up. If the phones are unplugged and plugged back in they come back up, but...

    3300 MXe III Interconnect Issue

I'll have to follow up on that, not sure...

    3300 MXe III Interconnect Issue

So I finally got back to this. With the interconnect restrictions set that way, the phones in the second group (interconnect #4) get a call barred error when I try to dial out. It's like they still no matter what try to dial out on Trunk #1, instead of starting on #4. I can setup a second...

    3300 MXe III Interconnect Issue

Thanks again. I will try it again today when I have time. Obviously all of the extensions have VM, with ext 2001 in the first group set as the main answer point, and 2016 in the second group as their main answer point. I'm really guessing on how they expect the programming to be done. I've...

    3300 MXe III Interconnect Issue

I appreciate the input. Lets say that complete seperation is acceptable. Do I just assign a unique Interconnect number to each trunk/trunk group and a unique number to each group the extensions fall under. For Example Trunks 1 through 3 have Interconnect #1, 4-5 set to #2, and extensions...

    3300 MXe III Interconnect Issue

Basically the two trunk groups need to be kept seperate on both inbound and outbound calls. But I have the feeling they will expect to be able to transfer the calls between departments if necessary. There should be no sub-restrictions. I've figured most of this out in two days so I guess COR...

    3300 MXe III Interconnect Issue

I have a 3300 MXe III that has 6 analog lines tied to it. Trunks 1-3 are in trunk group 1. Trunks 4-6 are in Trunk group 2. There's 3 phones (out of 20) that are in a different department that I need to have use trunk group 2 (for both incoming and outgoing calls). All the...

    System ID on an SX-2000

We are looking to replace an SX-2000 with a new 3300. I guess there is a migration package available to help save us the time of re-keying the database, but I need to know how to get the System ID of the 2000 in order to purchase this package. How do I find the System ID on an SX-2000??? Thanks.

Connecting 2 CICS at same physical location

How do I specify pool access??? Under system programming, access codes, line pool codes, I can only specify 0 or 9....

Connecting a CICS and a MICS using ATA's

Thanks - They are requesting two ATA's on each system, so I guess they'll have two paths going each direction. I just don't understand why they want it setup to where you have to press 7 to get there?? Wouldn't you just have to dial the extension????

Connecting 2 CICS at same physical location

This is basically what I am trying to do as well, only with (1) CICS and (1) MICS. They have to be kept seperate since they are two seperate businesses under the same roof. How do you program them so when you hit 8 (or in my case they want to use 7), that it routes through the ATA's? Also...

Connecting a CICS and a MICS using ATA's

The ASM is completely open... Thanks.

Connecting a CICS and a MICS using ATA's

Is it possible to use the existing ASM that is attached to the MICS, rather than adding ATA's? The MICS is about out of digital ports, I don't want to use them up if I don't have to..

Connecting a CICS and a MICS using ATA's

I have a business, which to make a long story short, sold off one department. This new business came in and installed a CICS to run that dept only. They want to be able to transfer calls back and forth between the systems, and claim it can be dome by attaching ATA's to both systems (which in...

    CICS Lines Won't disconnect

I'm having an issue where the two lines that are being used for a conference call won't disconnect when the caller hangs up. They will just sit there and say "In Use". Once I go pull the bridge clips off the 66 block, the lines release and work fine until the next conference call. Any ideas??
